thug (Jun 5, 2006)
I was working on this for the contest and thought I lost it. Well guess what pops up to my surprize. Since I've invested time in it I thought I'd submit it late.

If I could, I would shake your hand for creating this. What an interesting clash of characters. In many ways too (such as: new and old, harmless to demented, action platformer to survival horror, etc etc.) Also, that scene in the hospital was one of the best in the game (and series too). Very cool. Kudos.

I only ask because I have trouble with the jaw in that position. Hoped you could help out with that vass knowledge you contain. Everything looks fine to me.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 22, 2006)
I have trouble with faces on a flat plane /or angled like that as well, so I understand your question... he seems to pull it off rather nicely each time, and I always wonder how he does it, myself.
HunterKiller_ (Jun 22, 2006)
It's beautiful. Maybe a little more contrast?

I was thinking "Old School" when I did this, thank you Solve. Still up for a collab if you are.

My local internet provider is MTS, and it's only happened twice but both times I was painting and tried to send and it said there was an error in sending. The first time I clicked back to the home page and at the bottom right of my screen the window popped up (Coneected to net) and I thought wth, that's why it wouldn't send. Fortunately when I went back to the draw pad it re-established my finished piece. This time I had a feeling it was the same thing and sure enough it was so I re-connected and I was able to send this.

Is this strange do you think? Should I phone my provider? It's not that big a deal, so long as I can re-connect I'm not that worried.

This girl was drawing and lost her connection , that's why she's screaming!!!

Im down for a collab whenever (would love to). I have sooo many to work on though, so I really would rely on you to take the first steps. This is very old school too. I dig it.

Besides the jaw itself seeming a lil thin at the bottom, very good for 21 minutes. Nice contrast of dark to light.
paulfrank102 (Jun 22, 2006)

Very cool. Nice vision/creativity you have. I wish you would do more of this nature.

This is brilliant. I feel that the electricity doesn't look as intense or dynamic as it could be.

I agree with Dave, it looks like an Aztec cave painting, or a painting on a pot. Very nice.

Great work - wonderful, evocative painting!
Axil62 (Jun 21, 2006)

"Can you give me sanctuary, I must find a place to hide, a place for me to hide
Can you find me soft asylum, I cant make it anymore, the man is at the door"

Jim Morrison, of course :) I just love to hear to "The Doors"... Why do you need drugs if you have them? (The same goes for Pink Floyd)

C'mon baby light my fire, c'mon baby light my fire, try to set the night on..... FIRE!

The man was sex in leather pants. And lightyears ahead of his time in terms of rock. Some of their songs are still weird to listen to. Your right, you put on a Doors album you don't need anything else, because he did it for you. X)

Damn, I just talked to you about posting. I come on 2draw and I find this wonderful work of art! One of the great things Ive found in your art and subjects is the brutality of war, among others thing (commerades, "grimness", unity, destruction, etc). I dont know what you have studied/experienced but you always pull/emulate war well.

Anyways Im glad to see this. I like the contrast/focus on the main subject. I also really like the dark ambience around the death like figure.
