Just a tip. Don't use the blur tool until you get fairly familiar with the applet. Overuse of the blur can totally kill a picture.

the firey background is cool, but the ring looks like you put hardly any effort into it. Smooth and strengthen the curves and make it shine brighter, can ya?

If they haven't seen the movies, then they've read the books. And if they haven't done either, they still know the story. (Read the books before watching the movies, everyone!) Your one ring there looks a bit like a piece of ribbon, rather than a metal ring. Try making an edge that you can see all around the top of the ring, so that when your bottom line meets your top back line, there's space there. |

I have a whole archive of old original video game music...sonic, mario, megaman, starfox, etc... but what I usually listen to while drawing is metal...something like Rhapsody or After Forever or Lost Horizon or any of the other 350+ cds I own... oops this was spose to be about your pic... uhh, nice drawing!! XD

The tree looks like an ice structure of a reindeer/ram (just the top part though) lol just a thought. But of course, you're still gonna work on that. This looks pretty cute so far. I think you should add some snowflakes.

That's not true. You did not just the sky, but you started the whole concept, you did the green, you established the patterns for the sky and grass which I merely embellished. You started this whole piece Vera. I just touched it up.

Send a memo to one of the mods and paste the url for this into the memo, and ask for a little more space to finish it. I am sure they will give it to you, it's a nice picture with a lot of effort.(they will take some points though, it just happens)

Have you ever drawn something for several hours, and STILL had no idea what it was? I just had a moment!Just pretend that this is whatever you think that it is. With green stuff. And a guy with wires or something coming from him, with one hand. WTF?!?!?!
