Practise doodle, very first Wacom tablet. Never used a tablet before, let alone to oekaki, and it's pretty cool. I'm very happy with it, but as for the doodle itself, somewhat unsatisfied with the color scheme, and the overall sloppiness on the lineart details. But ah well, it was something to do, killed an hour and 15 minutes. They're supposed to be hunters from some tribe. Hope you guys like it! |

This is beautiful and just for future references or comments the proper term for a japanese cartoon styled drawing is manga and anime is not the same thing like really i hate when people think that i mean is animation and comic the same thing no so there but anyways this was ment as a compliment and the coloring is very creative

Well DK I watch anime (sometimes) and never read a manga so all my known ref's are anime and will always be. Thank you.Oh damn I just noticed this was put on intermediate not the collab board, stupid me, I'll have to ask them to move it. Sorry bout that.

For some odd reason...the only position i can draw ishida well in right now is the profile view...so get used to seeing him...ima keep practicing...sorry this one sucks =P

I appreciate the positive reinforcement...Ishida just seems so difficult to draw from any view except the profile...and as i draw him more he seems to get more difficult...thanx! --goes to draw more ishida--

Everyone has one. You have one too. The little voice in your head that criticizes every brush stroke you make unless it's absolutely perfect by insane standards. Then afterwards, the voice that finds every singleflaw and irregularity in your completed work, and throws it in your face. A lot of this guy's dialogue is actually stuff that my inner art critic said to me while i was drawing this... Yeah..I'm not really comfortable with posting my cartoon characters here, since they're pretty simple in design, and everything on this site is so impressive in compare. But after some urging (and I'm sure they regret it now), I figured why the hell not. I wanted to do this for a while, anyway. This guy's Botj. He's a two foot tall nut demon. Despite the text, I really do like this entry. I just hope it doesnt get deleted off of intermediate for being too simple. I hope there's not a rule against profuse text.

My inner critic ALWAYS tells me I can do better, but thats good I reckon, because if it didn't I ( and other artists too) wouldn't get better. Basically you know that it's there inside you- it's just how to get it to come out. And one day something incredible happens and you are happy with what you have done, but not always. I love this because it's so true- it is what people feel. I salute you!

my wierd though on your inner art critic, is that when you fail to see whats wrong with your own art, is when you have stopped improving. I go through all sorts of random psycotic thoughts when i draw. This pick made me thing, and i luaghed when i read this becuse its so true to me as well. and dont be afraid and overwelmed by other peoples suff on here. there are some incredible artist on here, and its intimitating. Just post and have fun! :) |

Take it as it comes. ------------ Ok... at first I didn't knew how to do carnations, then I remebered there is someone in this oekaki that is a master of them. So, I studied Deadly Blond Arcer's gallery. If I admired you before, now I most make you an altar Cindy (May I call you with your real name?)... the patience you most have to obtain such wonderful results, and your incredible talent!

You may or may not recognize Tifa Lockhart and Vincent Valentine. The starting sketch which will soon be outlined and colored. It's a scene from my also work in progress fanfic (which I must admit, is a vincentxtifa). I've got a bad case of favorites with these two. They're so cool! *fidgets* And I get to be Tifa for my city's upcoming Con! Weeee!! *ahem* That is to say, I am very excited.
