do not understand the Judging Procedure, for giving First Prize.
dorothyblueeyes (edited Nov 3, 2010)
You know, I never say anything about who wins contests, because everyone is so skilled, and talented, and I do not really care. However, at this point,I really have to make a remark. I really DO NOT UNDERSTAND the process of "who's best"here,in contests. Some of the very best painters and artists who do fantastic work, never win, or get first place.(Not ME I'm speaking of) I am for abolishing all contests on 2draw.net, as they "only promote bad feeling". EVERYONE on this site is a good art...

I don't know why but when I posted a reply to flubbles statement I hadn't anticipated someone providing a visual.

Thank you for this. I literally laughed out loud.

One of those movies I could never watch again It would kill me to see how horribly dated it is in the way that only 1960's movies can be Horribly Dated.

Robert is spot on. Paul looks nothing like himself but he didn't in the reference either.

The static you added in Version 11 was a nice touch.

Amazing, so much like a classic oil painting. Such a cute little cherub too :)

Okay, this painting is not finished; her butt is too big, now,on the left side, near the angel, and we did it too big; wow,we got carried away with flesh tones, and reflections of the blue set,on the flesh of the thigh; sigh.but, now her butt is too big.(ok,so is mine.)but notice, how this "classic style"painting, has incredible variations of flesh, reflection, and everything, that could be worked out forever. So i wrecked it that way,but this is a picture still "in progress."and a learning picture. NOT finished yet,if it ever is. :)(Too much yellow in the left thigh, and leg now,do it back like color of original body, towards pink, rose, dark reddish, ect.away from organge.)and the right leg is too dark,to make it go back.ugh. shit, how do I fuck it up best??? ha ha. no perfection, forget it, guys : O
L.Monte_Slim (Nov 19, 2010)
I think it looks pretty cool now. I dig it HEAPS, but what's up w/Ruebenesqe chicks's nose & upper lip[She been try'n'to get a raise?] eeeww! And the cherib's nose is redder than W.C. Fields' veiny monster!! Heck, Look at 'er eyes !! shes Drunker than Dean Martin,Rodney Dangerfield, and Lindsey Lohan rolled together..

Cap on Yaoi Influx
Nyuusen (Nov 18, 2005)
Well alot of people have been getting angry over alot of meaningless/done out of boredom yaoi pics. So, I thought I'd post other sites where people who want to draw yaoi can go and, well, draw it. That way they don't have to do it here and everyone be happy! ^.^ This is an oekaki board Maiko suggested and I looked up the link: This is a site where you can post yaoi art you have drawn using any medium. Pencil, paper, paint, oekaki (though they do...

I like the fluidity of strokes, transparency of colors and overall intuitive feel in version 3. :)
Roytje (Nov 1, 2010)
Soon, Shults :) But it;s mainly basic/ simple work. Hope it'll change soon.

Beginner PaintChat room not working for me,WHY?
dorothyblueeyes (Oct 20, 2010)
Dear Administrator; I have downloaded the necessary jtablet for my tablet, the bamboo pen and tablet from Wacom; then, since the paint chat would not work,it said,"go and download the other thing, that goes with it,and it will work";well,I installed them both, and it still will not work, and the paint chat still is so hard to use,I really have to say, this is the only oekaki site who's software I always have trouble with.I am on a lot of other boards, and most of the time, this is the one that will not ...

Contest Week 104: Emotion
padmooks (edited Oct 26, 2010)
Contest Week 104: Emotions So, hardly anyone entered the last contest. LAME. all of you suck, however SEND ME YOUR CONTEST SUGGESTIONS, and you might just get your contest idea picked. This week is going to be emotions, happy, sad, jubilant, melancholy... ONE CATCH. it has to be the emotion you are feeling right now. as your reading this. art is one of the best nets for emotion, and I think often with digital drawing we get caught up in the technical jibber jabber of drawing, ...
