For some reason when I click the checkbox on the first slider, the hardness control, I can't draw anything. When it's unchecked there's no problem, but when it's checked I can't draw a single line. I've tried various other settings on the other sliders to see if it was just a bad combination of settings but still nothing works while that first checkbox is clicked.

I've also tried it with both a tablet and with a laptop trackpad and the results were the same.

I'm wondering if the handful of people that have been unable to use 2draw live have had that checkbox clicked and not been able to draw simply because of that. Has anyone else had issues with the first checkbox?

I've had issues with the whole thing..

@tanuki - That checkbox when checked will lock transparency making it so you cannot draw on anything that is transparent.

@davincipopplag - I noted in another post that I had found your test marks on the bottom layer beneath other pictures so it's possible you were drawing functionally but didn't see it because it was beneath. I know there are other issues.

I've had my share of broken pipes and incomplete loads with the applet.

Everything tested functional with exception to voice/sounds and pressure sensitivity when I was testing for the Sketcher wiki guide.

I have no microphone to test the sound and jtablet is not functional for my OS...yet.

I thought the checkboxes were for pressure control? It might be a JTablet bug.
 icon
oneironaut (Nov 1, 2010)
The tool-tip for the other check-boxes state that each of them are for pressure sensitivity.

The tool-tip for the check-box, beside the hardness slider, states that it is a transparency lock (for me without jtablet enabled). I believe that this is just a confusing design versus actually being a bug since the ui of this applet doesn't have locks for individual layers, beside the layers themselves, like many other applets use.

I think confusion was based on assumption rather than a bug or flaw.

Because of this confusion I had posted on the Wiki Discussion page for Sketcher requesting confirmation that the tool-tip and/or function of this check-box was different for someone with jtablet enabled.

Why is the fun live-2draw board abandoned?
 icon
Suntan (Apr 4, 2011)
I haven't been in there for so long because it's confusing. For me, anyway.

Why in the middle of the night last night, did I go to sign into the site, and it said I was already logged in? Explain that one, please.

Here where I live, in the springtime, you have to be really careful when your'e walking around outside..cause you never know when there might be a snake hiding in the tall grass.

.

Fast forwards to 2005 and we have now see the emergence of the new type of web sponsor - typically the cheap hosting provider. These are companies which offer hosting pertaining to $5.00 each and every month.

Generally, economical webhosting companies are newer companies. There may be a reason with this. It's extremely difficult in the older companies in order to reduce their prices once they already have a large client base which usually pays greater prices. They will be slashing their gross, and most companies just can't afford that.

So take place cheap webhosting providers offer this type of low price in the beginning?

Part than me is which servers, storage device space as well as bandwidth are much, much more affordable than they were previously

Sadly not that exciting. They're probably generated by computer programs.
