Wow, this is amazing. I really adore the perfectly tiered sky, so pretty are the clouds. I also love the feel of the waterfall. Great concept!

Great choices in the color palette, the purply blue shadows work especially well on the trunk. But perhaps more importantly, you have made a positive civil rights statement for birds everywhere. Not only do they deserve better living conditions, birds understand that building condos instead of nests yields higher profits in a competitive real estate market.

Mori is for Hakkai. Kyoya is for Maiko. The twins are for my little sister. Tamaki is for one of my RL friends. Honey is for me (Ilovehim). Haruhi is for Hagaren, since she called her first.So so, as for the rest of you, which host is your favorite? Sorry if Kyoya isn't very visible :< Blame it on Tamaki's big head. I've been doing the whitetail "game management" muzzleloading rifle hunt for the State at the park here, and one night I helped the State park police and rangers track one of the hunter's deer through hundreds of yards of tall, dead grass. I'm not sure why his didn't go down immediately, we're shooting civil war "cannons"... mine had an exit wound bigger than Dallas. Anyway... that was my inspiration for this, and I didn't need a reference because I've seen this so many times after bowhunting that the image is burned into my mind. I didn't quite get the effect I wanted with the flashlight...I usually flare mine where there's a circle of light and no center point of light, and it was kind of foggy that night. I played with it long enough to lose my patience... but it was fun experimenting.

Most of the time it's like spring here on Christmas day, but I don't mind because I love the Grinch. It's been freezing rain and all cold and sloshy and yucky for days... at least today it was big, fat, fluffy snowflakes, and it stayed on the ground. Usually when it snows here it melts when it hits. It's so rare that people will use it as a "year marker".... like "Was that the year it snowed?" :) I'm just not much of a cold weather person, I'm a beach bum. I've been going outside and wiggling my toes in the snow... it's fun, but it just doesn't have the same effect as warm sand.
