To steal Staci's comment because she is so quietish, excellent composition! It really feels "off kilter." The shots kind of look like pick-up-sticks though.edit: wahaha! Good eye, Zer.

LOLOL. I didn't like how the hair turned out.. The lineart was gewd, but when I colored it in, it turned to crap. I experimented with it a little.. with the shading and coloring.. looks alright, nh?<3 For my Favorite Stalker!

WOW, this is awesome. I'm not going to tell you you aren't ugly because I don't think you would draw pictures of yourself if you truly thought you were ugly. :P Okay, I give in, you aren't ugly, you're hot, lol. ;)The style of this is so great! I love the glasses (because of how the frames fade out and the slight blueness indicating glass), and the mouth (the lack of lines and the slight upturn for a great expression). ^___^ |

I think each of Dan's cartoons have a certain quality that only an Intermediate artist (or better) could achieve. The compositions were thought out and the concept for the series is a quick read, as they were intended. Many editorial cartoonist and illustrators use little to no color and have subtle backgrounds if any at all. The simplicity and style will probably be lost on folks who hold a finished picture to color and complexity. I like the series, it's refreshing and it's not Anime, keep em' coming Dan!

Hey thanks for moving and saving them. Let me just explain that the reason two of them were on intermediate and one was on advanced was becase I was doing them fast and you can only post two on each board at a time, so I simply moved to the next level to keep posting. Also let me just say to Clox and CV, thanks for recognizing them for what they are and attempting to illuminate. Wise beyond your years I say. |

trying to get my drawing head back. Seem to be dead for ideas recently, so while trying to work myself up to work on the other cyclops pic. this came to mind , so I had to spit it out. :}>

I don't think you've lost your drawing head at all. I have been so neglectful lately in browsing and commenting on stuff... I didn't even know this was here. My favorite thing is the petroglyphy looking stuff in the background. (And on his forehead, and his arms, and his "suspenders"... cool)

Cool, thank you all. I didn't know if it would stay on this board since it was only a sketch, and I'm glad it was so well accepted by everyone. Those are supposed to be , I don't know ( I can't believe I can't remember! UGH!) what they are called. The scarf/cloth that a priest usually drapes over their neck during mass. :}> Now that you mention it it does remind me of the nali. HA!
