for Him.

In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it. The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now if the master was done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, "I'm done". But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the
servant would not dare touch the table, because.......... The folded napkin meant, "I'm coming back!"

Jesus is coming back.

Believing everything that can't be proven, and believing in God are two entirely different ideas in my heart and mind. I have a relationship with God that is unmistakably real here and now. I have daily proof in my life that He is...and always was, "I AM."
marcello (Mar 6, 2010)
hard to argue with that. ;)
Flubbles (Mar 6, 2010)
If god really does exist, then who here can conclusively give me evidence i cannot dispute? i'm not saying i dont believe in god, i've just never been given any concrete evidence of his existence.

See? You are persuing Him.

trying out Lascaux Sketch...
drawing with chibipaint is much more enjoyable, but chibi doesn't have the animation feature :/

what i like in Lascaux Sketch:
- it has the magic wand tool for selecting stuff
- it has animations
- it has a HSL color palette (a big problem i have with shi-painter, is that i must select colors by sliding the RGB sliders :(
and what i don't like:
- the line tool produces stray lines over the screen (and some of the artifacts are permanent)
- if you try to pick a color, and on the layer that is currently selected that pixel happens to be transparent, it changes your brush to the eraser tool instead.. its very annoying when im trying to paint on a layer above. i basically have to paint on one layer all the time... :(
- you cannot assign pressure sensitivity to opacity, you can assign it to spacing and that helps a little, but its not the same :(
- this might just be me not knowing how to use the program. But while i was painting this, my brush would frequently stop making any marks. sometimes i could draw inside a rectangular area, but there wasn't the marching ants to indicate you have selected something like when i use the select tool. i tried ctrl-z but that didn't help, but ctrl-d did enable me to draw again. weird.. :/

An interesting tidbit of information Mursku and BMW, if I ever get another chance to draw on this site then maybe I can figure out what you are talking about, lol.
backmagicwoman (edited Mar 2, 2010)
Why can't you draw here now Tumbling?
marcello (Mar 2, 2010)
..now the another deal breaker; not being able to pick colors from the overall image, but only from the layer that is currently being selected. <------- actually, this is not correct, it does pick colors from the overall image, not the current layer. it will switch to eraser, if the particular layer is transparent at that point, but the color is the overall. you can hit the 'A' key to switch back to the brush
vlad.the.hamster (Mar 2, 2010)
I also constantly pick colors from the canvas as I work, but I admit I have no idea how pressure sensitivity works in Lascaux, so no, I don't really understand. :p Anyway, if Lascaux bothers you that much just use Chibi, the way I like Lascaux and don't bother with the other apps unless I'm bored.

It's rather interesting to read about how other people work, though.

Is it me, or is it funny that someone is trying to tell the maker of a program how his own program works?

Oekaki making firefox crash
jindae (Feb 20, 2010)
It's been like this for quite long while for me. I was away from oekakis for 5 months, and now no matter what oekaki program I open... My firefox shuts itself down, before it even starts. I tried to google this problem but I couldn't find any answer... So anyone here know the answer for this?

JTablet for Mac?
cerebus360 (Feb 17, 2010)
I own a Mac and I've been checking on the JTablet site frequently. Recently, below the Linux system there, right there...in little writing say "Mac version coming soon!" Now, I've been pretty excited and checked even more often. Been about a couple months, can anyone tell me if there is a BETA version or a program that is similar to Jtablet? This really reminds me of waiting for Paint Tool SAI....

this is really good, both the original photo and your interpretation of it.
Flubbles (Feb 16, 2010)
I agree, it's a good draw.
shults (Feb 17, 2010)
The original's quite dull, actually. I like your version better.

yes, well...ahem....back to the draw...great lace on those stockings! and the muscles in her legs are so well defined..great job!!
dorothyblueeyes (Feb 17, 2010)
It's beautifully painted;just my opinion,I doubt very much that you have to sink to doing porno, though,we have photos for that.Well,it's up to you, just my opinion that you're too good an artist to do it.Now,if you WANT TO DO IT,FOR YOURSELF,that's another story. Also, this picture of the nether regions is so clinically illustrated,it seems more like an anatomy lesson. But the whole picture is great.
Xod (Feb 19, 2010)
So well drawn, especially the vulva. It is the best when it is fleshy and meaty like this. It makes me want to play with it.
Excellent.
montezmaria (Sep 25, 2010)
I missed this one until now, very well done. And all of you are too darn funny, oh boy...cracking up here. Regardless of how little we like the focal point that we are drawn too, it is a very well drawn pc of artwork.
