Whoa, didn't know Rapheal could wield a bow....well, I guess that makes him one better than the rest of the crew.He sorta looks like the action figure that I had when I was a little kid.Nice job though, and Happy Valentine's Day to you too.
marcello (Feb 12, 2004)
no I didn't.
laurael (edited Feb 13, 2004)

I want to touch this. I want one, like a 6 inch replica..I want to rub it and hold it while I watch TV (no...not that, the figure he he). Wonderful detail....so says I. Really though, nice.
staci (Feb 13, 2004)
interesting that people yap wanting original subject matter, yet the reproductions get the most comments. just an observation.

This is excelent, espically the perspective. would look much better if it had a BG tho...
DinoFlorist (Feb 12, 2004)
I like that very much. It's really well done.
Edward (Feb 13, 2004)
i love it and the way you used the colored cross hatching to shade it looks really kewl and did not say hi earlier so

Hello! and welcome to 2draw, word of advice: dont get on marcello's bad side!
marcello (Feb 13, 2004)
Looks nice, but the shading on near her right eye really bugs me for some reason, competing strokes... You could try shading with a skin-shade, or simply limit the black shading near the eye.

Why not?
the contrast of monochrome and a gradient background is interesting, but I think it would be even better if you added a couple more shades in the background, or just stick with 2, 3 does not look quite right...
Neko (edited Feb 11, 2004)
Maybe the background ought to be less clearly divided with different colours? Just a suggestion, though.

VERY stylish. Reminds me of inked works. Or that black waxpaper you use to scratch the white zones into view.
davincipoppalag (Feb 13, 2004)
Yes! Neko..that's exactly what this brings to mind! good call! nice pic

Geeze.....I thought I lost this! Started this image LONG ago using my mouse and only now did I find that I still had it! *dances* Any ways I'd forgotten what I originally intended it to be so I made it into a fanart of a friend and fellow artist's character Falen. Soft paintings always look so nice right? Trying different techniques with this tablet.....I like how this one turned out alot with the soft coloring. :D Enjoy!!!

That's so nice. I like the rough coloring, kind of like oil pastel. I think you should add a little lighting to the nose tip. and one of the eye seems a little higher than the other

I'm so glad to have "free" time again! Last week I spent too much time prepping for a dance competition... glad to be back trying to draw.

Ok. *drops it* I lost my ref so I screwed with it... this version is ultimately cos I submitted then immediately thought it needed to be darker....I really can't blend.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 10, 2004)
I think it's terrific. It's way better than some of the crap I post in the advanced section.

okay... running the risk of showing my age as well, I also used to see the package of them to be sold in the supermarket... I never had it, because I was a kid and could not afford it, but I did fantasize a lot and was quite curious about it... would they really grow up and become what the drawing was promising? well, now I see it was better this way... great drawing Thug
marcello (Feb 11, 2004)
I'm 18 and I saw those in some science museum shop when I was a kid, so ya.

I did, when i was 6 or 7. They were at target. One time i got really bored and counted every one. There were 47 little specs floatin around in there. then i got REALLY bored and named them all. Then i got a playstation and flushed them down the toilet. :)
