Correction bot. - May I join? I mean well yeah... it may look crappy if iI join, but thats becuase I use a mouse...(sadly I don't have one of those pen thingies...or a tablet..or are they the same?) well i was fixing up that hideous picture i sumbitted before but when i went to sumbit it i found out it was deleted -.-so i made this using the basic same style...just airbrushed everything.... this is alot better RIGHT?

Start off by putting shadow right under each line and then to the left of every line.If light is on the left of a line shadow is on the right of line. Just do this until you understand It then your ready for the next step in learning shadow.

Just drawing something over again with the 'basic same style' and 'just airbrushing' everything won't make you improve, as nice as it would be if that worked. You wanna see my first picture here? Oh yeah. You know what the difference between that piece of crap and this is? The time I spent on it. The number of times I practiced drawing. The fact that I tried out different things instead of just saying 'I suck' and resigning myself to the fact that I was always going to suck, and everyone else would just have to deal with my no-effort posts. That's got to be one of the most irritating attitudes possible. ...done now.

yes i know i have a very irritating attitude but even when i do spend tons of time practicing and trying to get better at something i usually always just think its worse.and i like your first picture its way better than mine. and i dont always post no-effort posts. heres one that took me the longest time i spent on a picture here so far: http://cellosoft.com/2draw/view/33848/ and i did a 17 minute drawing (it was my 3rd one on this board) and i actually think it came out nice http://cellosoft.com/2draw/view/33683/ yea but anyways i was that well last night so sorry if i sounded like a complete total idiot <_< |
