I think the comment was given before the drawing was moved to beginner's.It seems strange how the beginner's board does not allow drawings of a large canvas, but one can draw on the intermediate and have his/her drawing moved by a moderator. But maybe the requirement of a moderator's authorization for drawing a large canvas beginner drawing preserves the website's bandwidth by discouraging large canvas beginner drawings getting posted often. Anyway, the girl looks very sweet and beautiful. Xod likes her, hehehe! >:D |XOD| |

awesome as per usual ms. connie lady.kawaii_otaku, lots and lots of practice/effort. id say the pen tool in shi-painter. lots of zoom. im not sure about connie, but i use pressure sensitivity on my tablet (top bar full, bottom bar almost full. not sure what they do, really, but that works for me) on a small size and a high opacity. and you dont need to have a tablet to do smooth lines, hakkai is a rabid mouse user and shes always got smooth as fork lines.

Haha. XD <3 for mazi.In my case, actually, I use the airbrush tool. I definitely used to be one of the many slaves of the pen tool, but I watched one too many of furyofroy's animations, and started to use the airbrush tool instead. I set in on a high opacity and use a slightly larger brush than I actually want the lines to be, and once I've got nice solid thick lines, I go back in with the smooth eraser and thin down all the lines. I don't even bother with the pressure sensitivity on my tablet, usually.

Yatta! I'm back again with a new pic (yay!). This is the first time I made an oekaki using the blending tool, and MAN do I love that thing! ^^. Anyway, about the pic itself, it's a sea serpent, hence the title (or could it be Nessie? O.o;;). And. . .crap, it's storming >.<;; I'd better get off. I'll edit this later, since I really don't want to be struck by lighting.

Ack! I see what's wrong with it.. the hair goes UNDERNEATH on the right side.. and the neck is terribly skinny.. and even the EYES.. nooooo! Can you delete these or something?

I accidentally drew the head sideways, but it was a really good head and i didnt want to re-draw it so..... she is sideways. I'm not even close to being through!!!
