oh wow. damn, i don't have N64... i guess i will have to stick with GameBoy, sniff.i was thinking about this for some time now: how come he's one of the hottest men ever when he's dressed heavily from toes to the neck (no skin showing except the face)? i have no clue

Working on a "real life" collaboration with a friend. This is the concept of that idea to be painted on 5' by 3' canvas.

This picture really is thought provoking. When I first saw it it struck me as being very cool but didn't really understand the story it was trying to tell until I just stared at for a few minutes to absorb everything. I THINK I know what it's supposed to mean but it probably is one of those that means something different to whoever looks at it. Every little part has some meaning. Very cool and wonderfully drawn.

Thanks for all the C&C everyone.I usually have problems drawing noses but I probably shouldn't have "outlined" it like I did - makes it pop out too much. Will try to develop more on this style on the next one. DBA: At first I thought you meant the rules of this board but no...I was denied posting on some other board because I didn't do photorealism (rules were kind of unclear in that place)...

No, I meant the general "art rules" you learn as you go...the ones it's okay to break once you know them, :) not the rules here. I still think the whole thing is fine, it flows and the main attention is drawn to her beautiful eyes.. and, of course, the biting of her lip. I wouldn't have noticed anything about the nose at all if someone hadn't mentioned it. I wish I were capable of doing something well besides photorealism. It gets really tiring at times. I like your style.

Yeah that's pretty much what I thought you meant there! I just get annoyed when people think that an artwork is "good" only because it looks like a photo. I know it takes alot of work and is very difficult to achieve but in general it's something I don't particularly find interesting but there are always exceptions to that... I think that everyone is capable of forming their own style but style in itself is hard to define. If you are really getting tired of it, you might want to stray away from photorealism for awhile...

When punk became glamorized Ramones and Sex Pistols fans got out their old saftey pins and poked them into Good Charllotte dolls. I'm assuming this who this is. Well them and every glam punk band out there.EDIT: Tatoos and piercings do not a punk band make.

the rounded edges on the ends of the guy second from the right's hair are kind of annoying. I really like this style though. You should draw cool people like this.

Damn. I guess now would be a bad time to mention that I'm a fan of this band, huh? O_O... whoops... XPIn anycase, I like this pic all the same. I espically like how you mushed all that black into one shape. We still know that they have seperate bodies, but the black makes teh faces jut out even more. Wish I could remember where I saw this pic tho... -_o'... ... XD
