That torso is rather amazing. Would love to see you draw more anatomy like this.
Sweetcell (Nov 23, 2006)
Amazing piece as always, great torso, well porportioned breasts, fabulous hair, just a question, is she sinking into the bed or is she behind it? I don't quite get the sheets and how they combine with her. Ah nevermind, I'm just jealous over your ability at realism.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving Cindy. *gobble gobble*

you made all the limbs shorter. Though, I think the legs look better the way you did them.
Deformed (Feb 21, 2007)
Yeah, I gotta work on that arm. Thanks.

Keep doing what you"re doing..the stuff you're posting is going in great directions..great faces
Dr.Snoopy (Feb 17, 2007)
Thanks :)
I totally agree with you Miss DJ. I mostly use just fragments of a ref to have some shapes I can play with, or to learn something about anatomy.
...So this time I tried without anything.
Wanted to be free like a bird...^^
But this piece has to wait a while to be finished, because the god of anatomy has changed his mind, so that I seem to get nothing right again -_-
Good thing I'm posting in the beginner boards.

hahaha lolz
yay ski your rude you just say mean stuff about peoples drawing ):
Skai (Nov 5, 2006)
Wow.
Just wow.
Hideyourface, I won't even give you the gratification of an argument.
Pancakes, I'm not being rude; I'm trying to get people to follow the goddamned rules because the mods never do shit about anything. Everybody always tries to be low-key, and you can damned well see that doesn't work. I'm tired of seeing 'Err, I like the sky!' comments on crap. Now, on this picture, I was trying to be civil, given that it's better than half of the junk on the beginner board at the moment. Chaotic actually contributes to this board, but we don't need it full of five minute doodles.
pancakes_rock (Nov 7, 2006)
but if the mods dont care who are you?
am not trying to be mean or anything but damnmit thats all to do is complate >__>
Chaotic (Feb 18, 2007)
who cares...I'll delete it if it would please you...geez.

cmb you kick ass. Youre always(not literally) putting out quality. The face makes me think of the northren lights.
davincipoppalag (Feb 16, 2007)
silly marcus.. aurora IS the northern lights.. most times though it's just a pale green...sometimes it's brilliant colors but mostly the green
fleeting_memory (Feb 17, 2007)
That's a pretty cool concept-nice draw.

oh I saw that recently sweetcell, but it looks like in this that multiple lines were drawn with one stroke, and I dont get that.
cmb (Feb 14, 2007)
if you thin the brush down to 1xwhatever number, then rotate it round you can see on the monitor it will split into 3 or 4 lines, draw with that and you get the multi line effect....
Sweetcell (Feb 14, 2007)
It's a caligraphy effect with the pen Hide. At a certain angle you get multiple lines, as Chris shows here. Fascinating stuff. Doesn't work as well with the airbrush though. You should try with the square brush next time Chris.
cmb (Feb 16, 2007)
thanks for the tip sweetcell!
