Exquisite and a very graceful drawing!

I like your ballerina's, so don't take this the wrong way, I have a feeling you shouldn't automatically post on advanced. It looks a bit unfinished to me. Maybe it is your style, but the face looks a bit flat and masculin.

Wonderful job QT. *G* Love your ballet series. But have you deserted us forever????

Like an optical illusion. Quite interesting and unique.

Very well done, I love shiny round objects *reaches over and kisses bald head of co-worker*

I missed this one Laura, I love the realism of the bowling ball in juxtaposition to the two demensionalism of the cartoonish background, or what ever I mean...lol 8P very neat!

Again this was inspired from a photo from a fantastic photographer who has graciously allowed me to "use" her artform to inspire mine. Thank you Photodream!

Your really getting good at this. Though I wish it wasn't so chalky and a little smoother. And those sharp leaves seem like an afterthought. Still, kee going.
gel_o (Feb 11, 2008)
AMAZING! This is just perfect Starz. I agree with jpjp in that each one of your drawings seem to out do the one before. Keep them coming!

Another fine drawing Starz! I have not tried anything yet on 2Draw but jpjp is really enjoying this site and I see that you are too! Keep em coming.
KuteDymples (Feb 10, 2008)
I just realizes Starz.....you are new here. I go look at so much art on these sites I see you so many places with your fine art. I just thought you had been here forever until I read that comment. Not that I take your art for granted. It is wonderful and I look forward to seeing it anywhere and everywhere. It blows me away! You have to be one of my favorite online artists.
Roytje (Feb 11, 2008)
Nice textures :)

Awesome draw Starz! I just adore your use of vibrant colors and details! And congrats on using layers! I imagine it'll be a long while before I stick my toe in that "paint bucket"....lol.

I did use a reference, a glass of white wine I did on another site and I had to keep filling that glass to get the lighting right *hickup*. I also took some pics of the glass before I started drinking from it, neither pic looks like any of the photos but at least I got somewhat of what I was going for, I need to work on making it shine though without making it look drawn, mainly I was trying to draw glass, I've seen others do it with such ease and few strokes *pouts* but I haven't caught onto it yet. Thank you for all your kind words everyone!
gerbear (Mar 14, 2008)
Hello Fuzzy darling!! Great draw and interesting how the different drawing programs change the end result of the pictures. Glass trick is...
Need a very bright hard edged shadow somewhere to show the highly reflective quality. Same for metal, the cleaner the hightlighted edges the shinier the object.
You are doing great with the transparency part of it, this glass looks very solid yet clear. You have great control with this program!
gel_o (Mar 15, 2008)
Wow, this is great Fuzzy! Just perfect......keep going and don't worry about that timer as we all think it is broken :>)
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)
Nice work fuzzy, very soft with a misty look, reminds me of an acyrilic painting, lovely. Oh got anymore wine? I could use a good couple of glasses full! oh ya, right about now, even though it is noon, I need to tie one on and let the hair down! lol, been one of those weeks...great now you've turned me into a boozer, see what your art did! lol, jk,, again nice work.

So nostalgic looking and excellently done!
MissA_sketches (Mar 16, 2008)
Incredible work! It's so shiny too. I'm jealous 'cause I still can't do metallic objects. Way to go!

This is my fifth face here at 2draw. I am pleased but it took way too long. At first her eyes were too far apart so I had to redo one. Hopefully I am getting better with the tools here. The reference I used was http://www.morphthing.com/showimage/2/0/0/2480/Morph-of-Marilyn-Monroe-and-Scarlett-Johansson.jpeg

Hmmmmmmmmmm, marfin...this might be why I was struggling so much with the left side and the right side of the pic. The site I was at actually had Marilyn on the top of it but it was blurrier than this one, so I chose this one to draw from which I did not realize it was morphing....duh. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions....it is a learning curve for me....it will be slow going.
gel_o (Mar 2, 2008)
Very nice work on this one. I think you should move on up to Intermediate. I am glad to see your work here on 2draw.
Meno (Mar 5, 2008)
Marilyn was such a vulnerable soul ... this pic really captures her sweetness.
Cordelia_Pink (Mar 18, 2008)
It kiiiiiiinda looks like her, the mole and the hair esp. You did a good job on this though.

I have so many drawing sites I am connected to now and I can't seem to put out one decent draw on any of them. Have a major block. I love looking at yours though. You've been one busy lady lately. Keep them coming.
QTgillie (Mar 15, 2008)
this is just so pretty. Cant wait for the tulips to start popping their little heads out. I do not have any planted here, since we moved. I should quit drawing and get some planting done here!!
