How does one do these pieces? I'd like to try one day. You are becoming the official landscaper of the community.
Axil62 (Jan 24, 2007)
Now the bricks lay on Grand Street
Where the neon madmen climb.
They all fall there so perfectly,
It all seems so well timed.
An' here I sit so patiently
Waiting to find out what price
You have to pay to get out of
Going through all these things twice.
Oh, Mama, can this really be the end,
To be stuck inside of Mobile
With the Memphis blues again.
a_blue_orange (Jan 24, 2007)

I enjoy how you are able to make that vapor feeling in your pictures.
Sweetcell (Jan 23, 2007)
It seems like he's burning in agaony. You get emotions in such smooth strokes.

you gotta kiss a lotta frogs, and all that.

it's been a long day, okay? I ate an entire bag of jellybeans and I feel sort of giddy now.

Hahahahaha, this... this is just perfect. Whenever a draw fux up on me I'm just going to improvise like this. Can't stop laughing it's so funny. Reminds me of The Toad in a british cartoon that for the life of me I can't remember. *sigh the ole brain pan going squish*

As opposed to red Cindy? Imagine if you just ate the red ones. :D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jan 20, 2007)
You mean like Red Lake #5? Anything red tastes horrible to me... I can taste the dye. Part of being raised in the wild, I guess. I only know you definitely aren't supposed to eat the green M&M's
a_blue_orange (Jan 20, 2007)
I love those little hoppy frogs on the bottom ^_^
fleeting_memory (Jan 21, 2007)
I agree with blue orange-I love all those little ones at the bottom with their crowns! :) !

this is less of the facial expression but all body expression. I would say it was a grieving, but i guess anything sad would be correct.

I've been doing the whitetail "game management" muzzleloading rifle hunt for the State at the park here, and one night I helped the State park police and rangers track one of the hunter's deer through hundreds of yards of tall, dead grass. I'm not sure why his didn't go down immediately, we're shooting civil war "cannons"... mine had an exit wound bigger than Dallas. Anyway... that was my inspiration for this, and I didn't need a reference because I've seen this so many times after bowhunting that the image is burned into my mind. I didn't quite get the effect I wanted with the flashlight...I usually flare mine where there's a circle of light and no center point of light, and it was kind of foggy that night. I played with it long enough to lose my patience... but it was fun experimenting.

Most of the time it's like spring here on Christmas day, but I don't mind because I love the Grinch. It's been freezing rain and all cold and sloshy and yucky for days... at least today it was big, fat, fluffy snowflakes, and it stayed on the ground. Usually when it snows here it melts when it hits. It's so rare that people will use it as a "year marker".... like "Was that the year it snowed?" :) I'm just not much of a cold weather person, I'm a beach bum. I've been going outside and wiggling my toes in the snow... it's fun, but it just doesn't have the same effect as warm sand.

Looks photographic. Don't like to think about the background of the subject, but great grass.
nyao (Jan 17, 2007)

Its so beautiful that you could convince children to take a bath by saying they'll look like that after it.

You're shading is admirable. I want to learn from you!
a_blue_orange (Jan 20, 2007)

Very nice. Really dig the flow of the hair. Solids and manga go together like bread and butter.
