I did a doodle of my Chara Hodo in this pose last night...and figured I'd try to oekkai it with a background...I'm obsessed with Hodo lately. <3 I really stink at Backgrounds...any tips on how to improve on them? critique always loved. PS not done, excuse the scribbleness.....I have to go to work in liker....five minutes. D= ) |

Just a try on 3d glass n shade. No ref. Kinda weird i tried using rectangle-selectiontool, but then it start to error,.. (for your info) I got bored of it, so its the way it is.. Better try something new...

This one was my favorite entry in this contest! (well, apart from mine of course..;)..) It's not only far more skillful than the original, but it goes to show that when you acquire more skills, you can take risks and chances to modify and apply your o w n artistic vision much more effectively. |

Congratulations Orkdoop! "Jean Harlow" is awarded first place for Contest Week 42: Do over!. You can see a tremendous growth in Orkdoop's digital drawing skills in this piece. Aside from blowing her old piece out of the water, Orkdoop demonstrates a stronger sense of proportions, an eye for detail and an all around more advanced drawing ability. I also found the gradient patterns in the clothing to be an innovative approach to making fabric textures. You've come a long way siski.

I like the old version too, in my opinion they are both really good, the old version is just more cartoonish. This one is more animeish.

Well this is inspiring.. I guess dan's cool little pots are good for that too.. Top and/or left side looks thinner than the right, I'm not sure if thinner is the right word.. the angle of the left side looks steeper than the right. It's good to look at anyway.

Yeah Trinity Blood.............:DThats an awsome story, but every time I go to my local book store they alwasy seem to run out of that Manga so fast..........-_-!
