Alan Rickman - Sense and Sensibility

I work with a mouse, and not a tablet, I have done this with a referance picture of Alan Rickman from the film Sense and Sensibility (1995), and I've done it because I love this actor, and I like to paint things I really care about. Personally I don't consider this sort of thing (a strict copy by hand) a very original or artistic product. But, I like to do them. I think I learn to "see" the colours, and might by doing these, maybe be able to do better original work later. Hope someone likes it. - Miranda

I dont know why everyone is so down on using a "photo reference"., If you draw from life.. the model is a "reference",, if you draw from memory the mental image is a "reference".. just me blowin off about it.. this looks good . I would like things a bit sharper but I'm a pain in the ass about that.

Thanks very much. I'll have another go now. I'll make some more effort. I just wanted to check the shi-painter, to see if it was the one I was used to. Check my Deviant Art, if you want to see more of my erlier work. =) This seems like a very nice board.

My sister's friends go to this site, and my sister is asking nicely for help on Lascaux sketch. She has never drawn a picture on the internet before.

I feel really weird. Like, an ambushed kind of weird.

I dont even know why but this picture made me smile-yeah that's a good thing to look through-sweetcell and some others also have some tutorial pictures as well.

I find this rather stupid. 98% of sexually active adults have one form or another of HPV (the most common STD . Did you also know 1 in 4 women have herpes? (most just never have any symptomss) ... but it can cause cancer later in life.. Therefor if youd had unprotected sex with 4 or more women or men , you prolly have herpes yourself, and it has nothing to do with being a "diseased cunthole. Condoms dont even protect you from either. "

Considering the context in which the joke was made and Dan's sense of humor, I still think this piece is funny. :D Btw, nice name, you'd think there would be a Bambi or Flower on this site but it doesn't appear so. I think Twitterpated would be a pretty cool name too. :P

This is Unico from the movie "Unico In the Island of Magic". I saw this movie when I was about 6 years old and I still love it to this day. It's such a unique movie, the story is so bizarre and the animation is trippy. I highly recommend you rent or buy this movie, it's awesome.

it doesn't really matter whether I like it or not, I could simply get rid of the custom font feature from lascaux, or make it detect special fonts.

I'm curious more on what people think on adding uploading/pasting to 2draw.

You know what? I actually liked this Picture. With this Pic, I used to add girls in bikinis floating on a raft. Well anyways, I think your drawing came out way better than the actual ref pic. HOW IN THE WORLD IS THAT POSSIBLE?!??!? WOW! Great job. :)
