I work with a mouse, and not a tablet, I have done this with a referance picture of Alan Rickman from the film Sense and Sensibility (1995), and I've done it because I love this actor, and I like to paint things I really care about. Personally I don't consider this sort of thing (a strict copy by hand) a very original or artistic product. But, I like to do them. I think I learn to "see" the colours, and might by doing these, maybe be able to do better original work later. Hope someone likes it. - Miranda

I dont know why everyone is so down on using a "photo reference"., If you draw from life.. the model is a "reference",, if you draw from memory the mental image is a "reference".. just me blowin off about it.. this looks good . I would like things a bit sharper but I'm a pain in the ass about that.
