Unless you REAAAAALLY put a lot of crazy detail into this, it shouldn't be in the advanced boards. But I do like the hair so far. :)--Waitin' to see the rest.

PaT, as a newcomer it's recomended to start in begginers to get used to the appelet's, this isn't Advanced and should be lowered to another board.

Holy crap awesome smooth lines.But I like the idea of the hand. Maybe not all the way there, just the knuckles, like he's resting his hand on a table or something? :3 The time is way off, sorry. When does anyone really ever look at the duration, anyway?!
...Okay, I do. I was gonna' do the hand... but gosh, I just wanna' finish this sucker up and start a new one.

I'd be more comfortable sitting in a chair, but I'm lazy. :)This came out splendidly. Great lighting, nice reflection of her in the window, her messy hair, and low rider jeans. And the subtle flower design on the curtains. Another best.

Well, not that great but I tried. I'm soooo not used to drawing fast. But I certainly learned form, composition, and especially lighting and shading. It's a personal pic so I'll put it up on flik'r and link it.

30 min???!?!??!!!???!?!?!!!!??!?!?!???!!!!???Wow! It takes me about 30 min to draw a circle! Mostly because I have too much conflict in my brain. And I have read the book, "Drawing on the Right side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards, but too much of my left hemisphere is taking over. That is why I am trying so hard to get back into art. I want to be like Luis Royo someday. Great drawing Sweetcell. for 30 min, this is a masterpiece! |
