I was desperate for the large canvas size, so I don't care how long it takes me, i'm gonna make this perfect, and worthy of advanced!

I found a praying mantis on the footpath outside school today so i picked it up and carried it all the way to the mall where i catch a bus home from. All my friends rejected me though 'cause they thought it was creepy and they wanted to squash it. Oh well. I named him Archie and let him go in the rose bushes in our front garden.

Comments and suggestions EXTREMELY welcome 'cause i want to make this best I poss. can.

I do sorta intend to do more on this, it's just it's been in my studio for ages and i couldn't draw anything else unless i "finished" something.

Hah! uhuh... thanks for *getting that*, Laurael. :) (I don't know, though, one of the things I had to stop drawing to do was to have an argument with my husband, so.... LOL) I won, of course, though. ;)

That's the purdiest shade o' brown water I've ever seen mizz Cindy lol from the look of whats goin down behind that umbrella,, I can guess how ya won that argument! lol nice pretty pic..(and I'm lookin at a similar scene right now..course all the blondes are about 60 and they got their suits on) , but it's ok..cuz I can't see that far anyway lol

lol... the Gulf of Mexico is kinda brown sometimes, but not that brown. Hey, at least those old chicks aren't doing water aerobics or anything.

Not bad Gigge.. the edges need some sharpening, and the cliffs could use some more horizontal elements to break up the vertical striations.. but this is nice..

Ohh, this is really nicely done.
I love the depth. And the little waterfall is nice.
If you put more detail into each thing (grass, trees) becuase overall you have a lot of detail, but it looks flat in some spots. Still very nice.

This reminds me of that movie "The Fog" where the evil pirate spirits come out of the fogbank one night and come to get you. This is a great spooky draw.

This one feels a bit washed-out.... but not bad, really. Not quite "Haflinger color", either. I'd like to see a bit more definaition in the mane, and softening on the glare on the eye. Overall, this is pretty good, though.

(I really love the majestic pose on the unicorn you drew, too.. reminds me of this one palomino TWH at the barn I work at, he always poses pretty for me like that.)

you know how they launched dogs and geese opr whatever up with the first air balloon, as testers? well, here's a dog testing 2draw for me... heh. just playing around, trying to get a feel for how to use this thing.

Lol! I love this, DMV. That face is something and the designs on the car are great, not to mention the car itself. Looks like one of those pedal cars from the fifties... my cousin had one and when my brother refused to get out of it, he hit him over the head with a sprinking can. I'll never forget seeing all that blood pouring down over my little brother's face.. or the look on my mother's!

I have always had a problem with making things too blurry but i like them that way i guess because everything turns out that way..I think lauren graham is beautiful so i wanted to give her a go

Hey there Dea! Hope you can get ahold of a mod so you can fix it. I think the reason why you can't is cause you saved it as "finished" rather than unfinished. If you think you might change something in the pic then it's always best to save it as that just in case. You can go back to it as many times as you like then :-D
