i like the way that you shaded this eye. the skin should have more definition though, and the pupil should be defined rather than be part of the big shadowy thing at the top.... good though!

I like this one, too. The way the pupil takes up most of the eye looks slightly odd, but maybe thats just me. The shine of the eye, and the eyelashes are really realistic.

you really know how to draw fascinating eyes.... the eyelashes are a tad bit overly well defined, cause they dont grow in clumps, but the eyebrows are fantastic.... something about these eyes really is kool.... great realizm!

marcello is also a good influence, helps getting the ideas going and can tell me sometimes if something will work or not, or give suggestions on the tools. if you haven't messed with lascaux sketch (layers, colors, blending options, brush size and shape here).... you should. experiment at every turn, and you'll learn some new way of doing things (or you'll uncover some bug, lol). other than this, work on your art until you feel it's done. if you look at it, and find something amiss, fix it right then and there. sometimes i'll mess with it... create 50x new layers that all do something different, and then scrap it all. this is where having your changes on a different layer helps. this started out as a cue ball btw... yeah.... too much time on my hands here.

Agrees w/ Sheik. I think you should try experimenting with different tools b/4 you start drawing your picture. Maybe as a....what should I call it....a warmup! But it's good for a first try.
edit: and try not to have so many little white dots where the bg or whatever couldn't get. If you zoom up a lot (little button at the bottom left hand corner of tha applet that says '+') then it will be easier to use the fill button to fill in those dots. Good luck!
