The other day I found one of my images lowered (angry thang) from advanced to intermediate. Not that I mind, although I thought it was advanced. I was wondering if it would be possible for the admin whom changed it to a different board to let me know what about it wasn't advanced quality and what was wrong about it so I know what's expected of me to create something worth putting on the advanced board. I think it would be fair for other people to have the same feedback on the images that have be...

3rd online piece. This idea pretty much came to me... during a commercial. It had nothing to do with the commercial, that's just when it popped in to my head. lol. The commercial was about cars or something. Ironic isn't it. I'm in a cleaning mood... so instead of cleaning my room or clearing out my work binder.... I'm clearing out unfinished pieces from my studio. I touched this one up a bit, and I'm letttin' it loose.

Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I have not forgotten 2draw, although I have neglected it. Suffice to say that this is the craziest semester I've had yet at college, both academically and otherwise. However, I should still have time to make at least one mediocre drawing a week, now that things have mostly calmed down. So. I'll be around.

Wow... that's how I feel right now. And I'm only in high school yet. Ironically, I don't feel that way about my Pre-Calc class... I just feel that way about everything else I'm doing. lol. I don't think that's a good sign... Cool job on this. Way to represent all of us confused students--be they in high school or college! Go you! |

Done... T.TI am very sorry to those of you that didn't get to join... it's because I was away from 2draw for quite a while... for those of you who memoed me... I'm sorry that I didn't finish a bit sooner... I think that I would have if I didn't stay on AOL and MSN IMing people all the time... so... it's pretty much my fault. But, just to let everyone know, I do have a life. I value my friends more than drawing and the people that I don't really know. If I knew you, I would be on 2draw more often. Anyways... I'm sorry. You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but, how many people here use their mouse for drawing? (I know I do..and it's quite difficult. -_-) Or do you use another type of apparatus? I'm just curious. :)

I am planning a rather large, ambitious picture, and I want it to look very good. Some aspects, I have a good idea of how I'm going to do it, but there are some things about it that I'm just innately bad at and would like some tips on. Those things are: Shading in a room, namely a white room-- walls, floor, ceiling. How do you depict light on a flat surface without making it look monotonal, boring, or overly textured? Realistic skin shading-- How do you use single pen strokes to achieve go...
