Contest Week 57: Human Figure *Two week contest. Your goal these next two weeks is to draw the human figure. You must use a photo reference that shows the full body and the figure must be nude (male or female or both, it's your choice). It doesn't matter what pose the figure is in, as long as you can see most of the body. I agree totally! especially as it looks like the leg at the front is a left over from a "pin the tail on the donkey" game- I really wish Id sorted it out! Oh well... but the entries were all awesome!

It does look like a Google image in the thumb, but when you see it as a whole it would make a great design on a nice long sleeved blouse. Ok, I think I got the shopping bug. :)

Decorative tile for sure, but I think I'd like this as a shirt, this pattern smaller scale, repeated. Maybe a nice light long sleeved shirt, silk or a soft cottony material, collar and the works. K, now I wanna go shopping. :) |

Almost everything you want is just a push of a button away. No process or understanding needed, just product and satisfaction.I like the composition, the blue against the dead warm-colored field looks awesome. That tree is pretty rockin too, I like how it's somewhat transparent, like a ghost.

The title fits this, because from what I've seen over the years the intellegent rate of people are becoming as withered as this tree. Sad innit? But there's still the lovely golden field and bright blue sky, so some people get through the cracks of underdevelopment.*whoah* that was deep. :)

Well.. lots of "firsts" with this one. First time drawing here (hello everyone :3 ), first time not using line art as a base, and also first time using Lascaux, which I put horribly, horribly to shame. :[I would like to finish this, but I have no idea where to take it that wouldn't seem ridiculously bland.

I think this has lovely tone to it, actually. The white/cream is wonderfully warm, and it's a great contrast to the blue. I think that it would turn out very nicely, if you finished. |
