I agree with sweetcell about the title lol.Color? I would go with a brown to match her eyebrows on her hair. Darkish red catsuit or darker purple with leather colored belt.

LOL, well, -now- I do. Yeah. The hand looks just plain strange, but I couldn't really figure out how else to actually fit it in there... Meh, I'll work on it. She's gonna have white streaks through her hair, I know that. Still not done... I like the red, though. Gotta go to figure drawing...

I think because you have the hand palm out, it just looks awkward. If you had her hold it with a normal grip, with the knuckles out and the palm in it would look more natural.Don't you DARE change the title. Seriously. |

I'm pretty sure I'm done with this. Just doing an anatomy study on a character of mine - been taking figure drawing, woohoo. This is of course, Runesael, who has been the subject of many a test like this one. I'm grateful to her - she wants to kill me. :P

Oh goodness, yet another original character. Minus the Digimon in the corner. And yes, I'm one of those people that leave the computer for hours. But is that really a good excuse? No, not really. I really think this would be more appropriately placed in the "Beginner" section, but as the canvas is too large, I cannot. D: My apologies, everyone.

This is really cute. :) It is obvious you put effort into this, - I don't really see it being a problem up here on this board. The people who do not belong on intermediate are the ones throwing out shitty anime drawings that took them 5 minutes. The colouring scheme is really very nice. I like the muted lavender in combination with the character's colours. However, I have some qualms with her anatomy - her feet should be as long as the space between her wrist and the crook (bend) of her elbow. Right now they're very tiny, and I'd be surprised if she could walk on them at all. :) Also, with the way the blue armband is arranged, her arm looks like it... o_o;; does something odd around her wrist. It doesn't stay straight. Sometimes (and I always try to do this when I'm thinking) - it helps to draw the figure, then the clothing, which I see you sort of did, but remember that the human body has definition as a collection of shapes. You achieved that really well on the belt, but it feels like you got a little bored on the smaller details. I personally would like to see more definition of lineart and dynamic contrast in the shading, but trust me, that's something everyone's working on, so you're off to a good start. :) <3clover

Yeah, alright. What's with my stuff being moved onto the beginner board? With all the anime and gaia shit that gets posted here? Apparently stuff I spend time and effort on isn't nearly good enough compared to the fucking fanart and furry scribbles - those seem to stick here. Feh, whatever. Fuck you guys, too. Do what you like, your site. Sorry about that. It's usually not my style to air grievances on a public forum, but what the hell. Anyway, the real purpose of this drawing is to see if anything I've learned from figure drawing has caught over into the digital aspect of my artwork. (Amazing what two four hour classes can do, and this is just the beginning of the semester. I'm pretty excited about the whole deal, disgruntledness aside.) The teacher I have is pretty awesome, and gesture drawing has taught me a lot about human body positioning and flow of movement. I have class in three hours, I'm going to go take a nap now.

This is on intermediate, not beginner. ?..I dunno..to me it doesn't really matter a hoot what board something is on. A good drawing is as good on beginner as it is on advanced. I does seem odd that ones with effort put into them would be moved over all that shitty scribbling that gets posted, but maybe a mod was bored or something.

No, I understand that I posted on intermediate. It's kind of rare that I post on any other board. I had three or four pictures moved - one off of advanced, which is fine, and then a few off of this board, which I just don't get because of the crap that gets posted up here sometimes.
