take a look at brushes gallery...the glass picture she did recently..
Harmanye (Mar 10, 2004)
That would be Brush4 BTW. But this is a nice start, I like the shading on the furthest part of the glass.

PS. Glass is Evil.
PSS. Really Evil.
davincipoppalag (Mar 10, 2004)
yea her.. lol thanks for the assist Harmanye.. and I agree... Glass is the devil's creation!
brushes4 (Mar 15, 2004)
oh gee...blush, actually brushes4_ is my nick at pogo.com( im a game freak lol), and it stuck( actually im too lazy to think up new names and remember them, and i find it quite a compliment that yu dave, suggested that frappa look at my stuff, and that yu harmanye would be so specific. and frappa this is nice, the shading is great on the far side of the glass, and the swell and splash of the wine is a great touch. heehee i dont dare try water, or liquid...can never get the motion down for that. good job!

mr woggly looks like he might be kind of an ass. lol
brushes4 (Mar 10, 2004)
he cant help being an ass, it's in his genes. (sorry i couldnt help it :o) this is great lol, just enough detail to make it clear what it is and not so detailed that it's offensive.( to those of us who offend kinda easily lol) i hate to be cliche but it kinda reminds me of the guy who came to replace the pipes in ym kitchen lol.
davincipoppalag (Mar 10, 2004)
ahhh that explains it! Mr. Woggly is a Plumber!

you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I wonder what the story is behind this piece. Great pic.

brushes4 (Mar 7, 2004)
hmmm, from the thumbnail,at a glance it looks like a couple of kittens(hey it's early lol) so i click on it and um....lets say i'm wide awake now! and i'm often woken up in the middle of the night by an image similar to this....the b&w on colour is very effective, and the expresssion on the b/w is priceless.

The lines on this are kinda rough, but it could be fixed. I didn't give the easel the back stand support cuz I thought it would just get in the way if it is going to be animated.

DBA, I like your other paintings an all...but when I look at this one, I keep thinking a Barney song is gonna start playing. Don't flip your hair and be all pissed at me, it's just...I'm just saying.
davincipoppalag (Mar 7, 2004)
lol..he's cute...but he doesnt look like he's in drag... lol
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 7, 2004)
lol, Axil, I'm not pissed and I'm not gonna flip my hair at you ( I dont really do that anyway)But I am gonna swing around and put my hands on my hips (I won't tap you on the chest with my finger, that could be dangerous :) How is a palette on his forehead anything to do with gay pride? And yes, he's cutesie. I intended it that way. You can sing Barney to it if you want.
dixielandcutie (Mar 10, 2004)

That's pretty cool, kinda spooky, like an ecto-cat. Always keeping it unique, keep it up :)
brushes4 (Mar 7, 2004)
dba...this comment is from my son, as he doesnt have an account (yet) he's going through me.

i really like your picture(and so does my sister) the detail and cat tail are amazing, the background looks real, and it looks like a constellation, it makes me wonder, is it a big cat(cheetah, jaguar etc. or a pet kitty, i like how it makes me wonder that.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 7, 2004)
It's a silhouette of a mountain lion. (Tell your kids thank you...) I have a fascination with them because we live on a lake with alot of cliffs, we have them here... they are very elusive. Sometimes when I deer hunt I find tracks and just before dark when the hair stands up on the back of my neck, I know I have gone from being the hunter to the hunted... lol :)
laurael (Mar 11, 2004)
I can't believe you didn't get tons of comments on this one(guess I was one of the guilty ones until now), but damn...this is another awesome one added to your great pics. I love all of them actually, even though I see that I have been lazy at commenting...
