your blending and colors arn't bad just concentrate on light sources (it helps when shading) Anyway this great first peice!!! I can't wait to see some more of you work here on 2draw!

they are kind of a challenge arent they,, I keep finding different ways to do things with them.. this looks like an older edition of mickey..the lines can be smoother with the "anti-alias" box checked under the brush selections... (you probably knew that..but..) Its a cute pic....

Texas *shudder*It's like being in a permanent heat wave, no I like it here in Illinois. Snow is good. But Texas has made me entertaining. This is pretty! It rather reminds me of the Elizabethan Barmaid I'm working on at the moment, actually, I was kind of surprised to see another piece here so similar in appearance. <smile>By the by -- in answer to your question, it's spelled "renaissance", meaning "rebirth" (which is how I remember not to double the "n", because it's re-naissance, if you break the word down into its component parts). And, not to be picky, but the costume isn't renaissance in style -- that would be more like your classic "Romeo & Juliet" style of clothing. This dress style is more like those from about 100 years later, at least; but it's well executed, which is what matters -- <smile> -- not a slip of the tongue in labelling the era. And yes, I know the style of dress is common at "Renaissance Faires", but they usually include a mixture of historical eras in their costuming, etc., which I think confuses people. <wry chuckle> |
