like..faye and warren? or the real ones?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 12, 2004)
Well, the real ones are kinda ugly... but it doesn't matter... as long as you do it black and white (or green and white, or sepia) and they have the car and the guns! :) I thought about doing them.. but I'd need a reference pic because I can't remember what they look like (the real ones or the actors) Anyway, yours would probably turn out better than mine would.... these movie headshot things you did were great!
ambermac (edited Mar 18, 2004)
great! nice smooth airbrushing.
LovelyLori (Mar 18, 2004)
I love all of these too... I think you should do Lucille Ball... or the Wizard of Oz characters... hehe

OMG! I went, still laughing, can't breathe.... to the worst album cover page... your reference.... That is some of the funniest.. Devastatin Dave the Turntable Slave? Thug, where in the world do you come up with these ideas? You are sooo funny!!!! You did a great job of reproducing their geekiness!

good one thug! great shadows and light..I like the textures you did on the scarf, coat and hat too... and the expression is priceless!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 11, 2004)
He's so cute! That scarf looks so real... I just want to reach out and snuggle it up around his neck! He has a bit of a Norman Rockwell feeling to him... love this.
PinkuEspeon (Mar 14, 2004)
O.O He looks evil! O.O;; Well... anyways, it's still an admirable piece! Two thumbs up! ^_^

Looks yummy, thug. *Nocks arrow*
Daymeon_StormRider (Jan 31, 2004)
Ya know what? This is cool! Reminds me of a painting...it looks more like a man hiding under a Bison's skin/fur...you know a Wolf in Sheep's clothing? Damned cool though!
ambermac (Mar 8, 2004)

It's always fun to see someone who can get the lines right first try seemingly effortlesly. Nice toonin lady.
ambermac (Mar 5, 2004)
thanks D. i'm sticking with sketching for now. those airbrush tools look great but take too long for my hasty style.
davincipoppalag (Mar 5, 2004)
Yea 10 minutes? you sketch well! looks like john lennon and wonderwoman on their first date!
ambermac (Mar 7, 2004)

*gasp!* Home! lol, j/k. Great perspective, and I love the texture on the glass.
Alicia (Feb 5, 2004)
This is so real, I'm glade they cleaned the blood off. I'm more glad the institutions have installed plexiglass.:)
davincipoppalag (Feb 24, 2004)

nice teardrop... I know all about alone... boohoo
davincipoppalag (Mar 4, 2004)
I think this would have been better if just a tad bit of the eye corner was visible ..its pretty good as far as looking like a tear..but not having a reference makes it a bit ambiguous..nice work though..
ambermac (Mar 5, 2004)
i like it without the eye showing. it could be on the cheek or dripping on someone else. nothings worse than feeling lonely when you're not alone. it could use one small shadow at the base to add fullness.
dixielandcutie (Mar 5, 2004)
oh thats cool. hey...we should start a pity party...ahha, a lonely artist pity party. ok or not. lol. nice work

Hey, this is really good. Your Dad would love it! Should show it to him when you're done. (Oh, btw, this place is highly habit forming if you love to draw - glad to have ya!)
Gigandas (Mar 4, 2004)

But to contrast what mazi said, this style has its own merit, and isn't necessarily bad. it's 10x better than the rest of the stuff you've posted.
sal (Jan 16, 2004)
ty for the advice...
ambermac (Jan 22, 2004)
i agree with marcello. there are other styles other than airbrushed/hilight-shiney musclebound comic book styles. you have a unique style.
PinkuEspeon (Feb 17, 2004)
I also agree with Marcello. Hey, ambermac, you should capitalize people's names.
