FuzzyWuzzy (Mar 22, 2008)
I took a pictures of this little fella in my water garden last spring. He was so friendly I think I took 200 photos of him fluttering around. He allowed me to get in very close with my macro lens and take shots of the graining on his wings and head. I was just beaming, everyone that saw me out there must have thought I was a total flake....wait...pfffft who cares!

Sorry, that wing was going to drive me nuts and I can already see something else that is jumping out at me.
KathyH (Mar 23, 2008)
I never noticed the problem with the wing, but it looks great either way!

This is beautiful, I also prefer the remake of her face. You made her much more delicate looking. The incredible colorful background really gives the "fantasy" look and feel to this. I have always loved your work.....I have followed it on other websites. I am glad to see you drawing here. The tools are much better and for a fantastic artist as yourself you sure have learned them well. Unlike myself....I am still trying. I could only hope one day to draw as magnificent as you. Excellent work!

Dave, I did actually see this, though more clearly, while I was lying down with my eyes shut, not asleep though.... thanks Joyce, haven't felt like drawing much... and thank you Xina, I'm glad you like
davincipoppalag (Apr 15, 2008)
Well, see. That's kinda what I meant. In the odd times I have had dreams , there are never crystal clear images, just stuff like this. Cool
Sweetcell (Apr 17, 2008)
Hey Miss Lori. Been missing you too. I just gotta ask. How th HELL are you getting these effects?
lori (Apr 20, 2008)
after I've drawn something on one layer, I clone that layer, on the top new layer, I put the pencil on 1, and erase the hell out of that layer, just back and forth, and up and down so there's not much left of that layer, and then just move the layer slightly to one side or up or down. Sometimes, I might clone that erased layer and move it again. I'm sorry I'm not drawing much, I want to draw but everything's coming out crappy when I try.

I saw this on Free4u.com. It is a wall paper. I thought it was a cool concept so I wanted to give it a try.

Amazing! I know it can't be real but it certainly looks it . . . This would have been perfect for the contest last week.

This is very good and a very interesting perspective.
Axil62 (Apr 10, 2008)
Hey thanks guys. Perspective was the motive.
Xina54 (Apr 10, 2008)
Someone to look up to eh? is it you? and what on earth is that sticking out from near the ashtray? But seriously, the perspective is great - I loved watching you develop the figure in the animation.
