This doesn't look exactly like Miley but I had another pic of her that looked almost exactly like her when she was like two or three years younger but then my sister...with good intentions at mind...tried to show me something with a layer and it all disappeared! :*( I'm submitting it now just so if something like that were to happen again I don't lose her completely! I like her but not as much as the other one. I'm not finished yet so lets hope she looks more like her with hair!

Kay, lets straighten all this out.Yes, asking for comments is basically asking for attention, which does get annoying. If you want advice, put "asking for advice/crits" Sweetcell didn't call you a whore, she called you an attention whore, which is someone who wants attention and asks for it. It's different that a whore, who is someone who sleeps with everyone. Lets stop this pointless e-fighting and lets all get along! D: MelissaMissy, as much as it seems like Sweetcell was being mean, she's just trying to help. She's been here for as long as I've been, and is a site elder, I guess you could say. Just focus on your art, and improving as an artist, so that you could be the best you can be~ You can ask for advice, but yes, when you ask for comments, it seems like you want attention. NO MORE FIGHTING! D:< Kay? Kay. ~v~

So I just finished eclipse, and I thought I try drawing Bella.I think that It is not fair to Bella to have to choose between Edward and Jacob, Personaly I like Edward. I can't wait untill the fourth book, Breaking Dawn, comes out!

A chibi for gaiaonline.com.
TehFailure (Feb 16, 2008)
I Love gaia online. and I Think thats adorable!
Sweetcell (Feb 16, 2008)
Fill tool, avoid it. Use layers and put down a base of color then another layer for shading and highlights. Thin the lineart, round out the face, take advantage of the line tool for the wand, put in a bg other than white and try to spend more time on your pieces. Read the rules to be sure.
AndreaTR (edited Mar 6, 2008)
TehFailure: Thanks!Sweetcell: I was just testing it out, but anyways I have photoshop now. More layers, and much easier to work with. Also, i like the lineart to be that thick, it's on purpose. Thanks for the help though! |

Sweetcell (Feb 16, 2008)
Try spending more time on your pieces. Those hearts are so blurry and the face looks unfinished.
MelissaMissy (Feb 16, 2008)
Isn't it meant to be sort of like that?
Sweetcell (Feb 16, 2008)
If it is then it's just messy. Try going back and cleaning this, it would look much better if you out more effort into it. |

TehFailure (Feb 7, 2008)
Ur Really Good at drawing!!
Sweetcell (Feb 7, 2008)
Well you've really improved. If you go back and clean up the lines (especially around his chin and the black mark on his lip) it would look cleaner. If you find lining difficult use the airbrush at half opacity and flow placed on thick then go back with the soft erasure less than half flow and opacity and start shaving down the lines. You get a very smooth look. the chest lines where the arms connect should be out a little more (makes his arms too thick) and his neck should be thickened. Maybe a different color bg. These are just suggestions to improve Tirbanny, you've gotten much better.
Wild_Mustang_Girl312 (Feb 9, 2008)
Thanks, I'll work on it.Fixed up the neck, lines and shoulders a little bit. Any better?

Yeah, the hair looks really fake...I need some help on that...
Pikameu (Feb 8, 2008)
Highlights and thinner lines?I think it's really good though :D
TehFailure (Feb 8, 2008)
The Hair is Pretty.Love the Lips. :]
enjoydotcom (edited Feb 8, 2008)
Use different colors from the same family, in different linethickness. Play with opacity. For really thin lines use the airbrush type brush 1 pixel and set the s-slide to the vertical line. Draw always in the same direction, in the way the hair grows is most natural.Make sure you don't see any white/skin color where you yourself wouldn't want to be bald either. Hope this helps. If you want to see what it looks like with my method, you can go to the first pages of my userboard. It has been long time since I drew a hairy girly :D. |
