It's that unmistakeable style of Donna. This one is making me think of Klimt with those colored confetti areas. Billowy silk. Buried treasure in the bottom corner.

been reading through dante's inferno again, planning on doing some actual paintings based on some of the circles. i'd really rather experiment with palette here than with canvas and paint and then realize halfway through that i hate the colours and have wasted a metric shitload of paint. :I

I agree with you. Those colours are way too serene to be found in an inferno. But then, I haven't read Dante since I was...well a very long time ago. I hope you'll do some more experimentation, though, because I agree, it's very interesting.
