Hopefully, I will figure out the bg tomorrow.. I'm not sure how to make it as part of this painting, without focusing on it too much.

Great job on the posture, positioning and weight bearing on the shoulders and supporting leg. Very difficult to do convincingly.

you have some very good examples of landscapes in your galley, that may help with this bg..
looking at them will most likely inspire you as to how to tackle this..

I know it's weird, because I have done many landscapes, but I still don't know how to make soft/blurred areas (as dave suggested). If you notice, you'll see that my landscapes are bold all the way.

In lascaux there is a blur tool I dunno in chibi maybe the smudger?

It's amazing how every song makes a different art. an angry song produces one thing, and a song about peacful days made me draw something dove-like (erased it later with another song). It can only happen with abstracts.

I think I'll clean it up a bit tomorrow.
