Brava....... your getting there much better. See how much more rich it looks when you block in color first? Now try adding gradual shadows and highlights. It still needs something. And when your doing the lines around the eyes try a softer brush.

hey roxi!! i never new u had an account XDawesome gallery so far...the tools are hard to adapt to but once you do you will be doing pro drawings in no time XD

Your getting there. If I may, from now on try putting a full color base down first instead of scribbling in like crayons, this way you can work shadows, highlights and other colors in and it'll look more... well more solid. Keep it up.

I like this and I know I'll enjoy your art here. I like the left side of her the best...the face, her arm the way it shadows and looks 3-D. It appears to be an illustration in a book that is trying to become real. I like that effect.

hmmm, is she holding a doll or something? i see two little feet under her folded arms... oh wait, nvm. I just read your description on v.6. It looks to me like she's stuffed the doll under her shirt... And I'm with Sweetcell on the comment about the left-side on her face, it's like there's somthing missing. Her look is pretty intense and hard. Maybe it would be better if her hair was hanging loosely closer to her face. I dunno. Looks a bit strange to me. But other than that, you did well on the realistic part of the rest of her. |

Avoid the fill tool, it leaves behind white marks that are hard to fill. Use layers. And spend more time on your pieces, if your just doodling or sketching you don't need to send. Doodles start to spam the boards and it's not considerate of the other artists. If you just want to doodle there are plenty of other sites. Read the rules if your unsure. |
