I love this.
It's so smooth and the colors are nice.

You're really an arrogant fuck Cindy.
I really like how this picture turned out. I was always obsessed with aliens when I was younger and this looks a lot like what I used to draw. Real cool blue.
Sweetcell (Feb 4, 2006)
So glad you finished, it's beautiful.

I like the tonal qualities of the picture and the watercolour sketchiness. Is it meant to be Sisyphus? If you don't know the story behind the picture, here's a link to it:

featherstone (Feb 1, 2006)
I don't really know the thoughts behind this picture... on the page I found the ref. it said it was a digitally enhanced photo(and I didn't draw the whole "photo", there were more stones)
anyway, thanks for the link, makes it all more interesting
SYTHE (Feb 1, 2006)
TC, you are wise. FS this is a very interesting picture, nicely done.
Sweetcell (Feb 4, 2006)
This is fine work. I thought it was from the movie Incredible Shrinking Man.

you're very welcome... and thank you.
Sweetcell (Feb 4, 2006)
Just coming back to this, I know I'm a newbie and all, but this deserves showcase (and not just because it was a request of mine.)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 4, 2006)
I am flattered that you think so, and I'm glad you like it, but it really is lacking in most of the things I think make a piece worthy of the Showcase. I'm not going to tell you why, because I'd have to beat up my own picture (heh)... it'll be fine right here in my gallery. Just glad you like it. :)
Sweetcell (Feb 4, 2006)
Ok, you know best, but I see things like this, and that's what I think, just glad to enjoy them.

hmm...I can't tell if I prefer the lines or the snowy look it has now. I like this style!
and what a transformation she underwent to get to what she is now! (I watched the animation) hehe

Dr.who rocks. Got all thirty or whatever years of the show on tape. Because bootlegging is the way to go.
Kraisa (Jan 26, 2006)
lol yeah that is what my Mom had but the tapes started to die from over use, so my dad bought DVD's from some place on line...Tom Baker was her favorite Dr. It's pretty good stuff.
Sweetcell (Jan 27, 2006)
Tom Baker, there can only be one Who. He looked funny, but sexy.

Artiste (Jan 31, 2006)
LOL I keep happening upon this painting and it keeps cracking me up... The best adjective I can think to describe my impression of Liza is simply "ridiculous." But you said it for me with this piece. Too funny.

This was one of those times when you are on the fence about whether or not you really feel like drawing, then you do.

he was probably right. this picture is monochrome, after all, so it's not a good example. but I think it's safe to say that once someone is good, 'rules' aren't as important.
Sweetcell (Jan 27, 2006)
It's so simple, so loose, yet there's the true touch of realism, as much like impressionism. I'm getting to be a fan.

Thanks. I have my pressure sensitivity set to one notch below the highest pressure setting, but I guess that's just a personal preference, maybe I'm a little heavy handed and just need it that way.
