Because of the placement of the last three symbols it forms a face with a body underneath. The symbols are obviously the eyes and mouth. Very subtle. Nicely done.

Well spend more than 10 minutes on this and it would look better. Don't use the fill tool, it leaves behind white specks you hav to go back and fill in. Use layers. Make the lineart thinner. Add shadows and highlights, some small scales and a decent background and this wouldn't be half bad. But if it's just a doodle there's no need to send it.
