well the description just says you should expect that, but not that it has to be that long. I think the point of it is to say how much effort and time is generally needed to get the level of quality we expect. That said, I think this image is a little underdeveloped and some more time on the neck and maybe some shading would help it.

This actually took me only two hours i just left the board up for a couple of hours..X_x while I went over my boyfriends.
anyways this is my first drawing of a black lady ever no ref was used..I'm actually satisfied with this.

Ah, I couldn't help myself I just had to draw him again (he's just soo cute~). I think this one turned out a little better than the one I did earlier today (I managed to get my tablet to cooperate a bit more this time). I might go back and fix up the hands later, but for now I'm concidering this finished.

I like it a lot! It's pretty anatomically accurate, but I also recomment getting a tablet and just quicksketching a but of anatomical practice pictures, and don't bother filling them in or outlineing or whatever. Just sketches like that are good practice.

I assume u wanted me to pick a color for the hair (since you didn't and left a '?'). So I picked brown, and put 2 tones there for ya. I think blonde would be ok too, or even pink, but *shrug* I went ahead with brown. Now get to work, lassie! :)
