I think the point may have been that it may be intermediate in skill level, since we can see that you understand how to draw and that you can draw, but it just doesn't look like it's finished. Maybe darkening some of the lines would help?

very pretty eyes and I like the pose, though a few parts of her clothes seem a little flat and more drawn on than being actually there. Still though, very pretty girl

there's a little too much blush and there's something wrong with the hair not that i can tell what is is (either shine form or amount). The coat wrinkles are too obvious

i finished with my work in creative writing class so i decided to draw a picture here since i have yet to do so. i really like it, some of the colors i used are my favorite colors. i left unblended stuff as bubbles and most of my art dosen't really take to long, time shouldn't be how good your art is described.

The idea for the drawing and the way you've arranged everything looks nice, but I think you could have done a lot more with the color. Since there's all these large circles of unblended darker blue it's not really giving the apperance of either water or fog to me. I think most drawings on the intermediate board take more than just 16 minutes to really develope them.

I'm am supremely impressed by the advanced skill ya'll are displaying. Cheers to all of you! I haven't been around to have a bit of fun, and now my skills are more than likely depleted XD But either way, I just wanted to congradulate the lot of you for your superior work. Such candy for the eyes! BTW, I'd mention names, but that would take forever and suppose I skip one? Everyone wins! :D

Just starting off with some linework. I thought stripey socks would look nice, but choose clothes how you want. The right leg is a little off around the knee, that part needs redrawing. I'm thinking about background ideas too, but if you have any then go ahead.

Does making an image make someone an artist?

I've known people that will say that the term "artist" should only be used for a "true artist" and that quality is a factor, and that it makes the word into something cheap when it's used to describe anybody who mades an image (the same way I can make a cabinet but that doesn't make me a carpenter). I've also known people on the other extreme that will say that art is anything someone makes, even if it were just a single line on a sheet of paper, and therefore anyone that makes images is an arti...
