Ah.. this didn't turn out too well. This is my first attempt at coloring.. x.x;; It still looks sketchy.. Thats just my style. I wish I could have done better. Yet again, done with a mouse. Taken off of Paper Mario.

If you want sketchy to be your style, which is what a lot of good artists do actually, then I'd suggest pushing it further and making things even more "sketchy." That's not to say skip out on the details, but when something just has a few rough lines then it'll look like you just didn't make your lines smooth. I think you could add more lines in the hair and maybe use lines for shading too. |

Me again. ^^ This is Megumi from a comic and and some friend's made called, "Happy Times"... (Unrelated Question: What's a template.. And all this other complicated stuff..? Cause all of my stuff is done with a mouse. I still know barely anything of Oekaki.) She's a ninja who's very tedious and tries to keep the others in line. And fails miserably. Most people think she's boring.

I like the way the large amount of whites on her are merging her with the background. She sounds like an interesting character to me, sort of a "big sister" type. I think that maybe you should be a little more careful with shading though, like the parts that it's going over the lines of her arms and hitting the background. It's okay to shade over the lines in some cases but here the structured background conflicts with the breaking of structure in the shading. |

wouldn't it be nice? a door in the sky?... the last time I traveled by plane and was looking down from the sky to the ground... it was night.. I thought to myself..."man... so many lights.. they look like stars...." then I thought..."how reversed"... or something. it was cool anyway... at the time.. lol.... |

I finished the background but for some reason it didn't submit that part I guess? Firs time using this program, it's not much different from PaintBBS though so it was pretty easy to figure out. :]Fun program, I'll probably be using it more often. |

Almost reminds me of German Expressionism based on the style. I like this, though I feel like there's too much focus on the bottom right corner since the cat, although well made, has the only warm colors in the picture. If there was some warm colors in other parts of the picture then it'd balance out more. I like your style a lot though.- I mean bright and warm. The monitor I was on earlier was showing the red couch as a muted brown...

Huh, I thought I commented on the first version. Maybe I just meant to but didn't...Anyways, I like how this came out. There's a few spots like along the grass line that are blurred and they look like they shouldn't be, but I think it's a cool character you've drawn here. I'm not sure if this is happening at night though, and if it is then I keep wondering why I see a bird flying...

This is a character of mine, Kohana. I'm so proud of the sideview, since I usually screw them up horribly :D. I gave her no face a. because it suits the angtsy mood and b. I had trouble so I gave up. XDThis is my first attempt of Shi Painter, and I had a lot of fun with it. :3

Did you know Kohana is a Japanese name meaning Little Flower? I've seen it before when looking up name meanings. The background is very well made.
