Old brother left hand, left hand he's a fighting, and it looks like love's a goner. But wait a minute! Hot dog, love's a winning! Yessirree! It's love that's won, and old left hand hate is down for the count!

He was from here. His house was a block from where dad lived when he was in his teens, now it's a rough part of town. Beautifully done

Oh she is furious and just beautiful. Passion is certainly felt when looking at this. Wonderful art, I keep trying to read what is around her though. It is interesting, but I can't make it out.

That is so cute. Looks like that ape from Disney's Tarzan... no wait, or that show "Going Bananas" i think... haven't seen it in ages. anyhow, I love watching the animation for this. I truly admire your precision for detail and texture. I love doing realism but I find myself losing patience after an hour or so. Anyhow keep doing what you love, your technique is awesome. :D

this is very beautiful. The lighting, the style, the technique are reminiscent of Vermeer or one of the Renaissance artists. Exquisitly done!
I am not sure I get it either Dave, but I know I am way better at copying or having a model or something to look at than I am making the entire pic up in my own brain.

This is Dante' right? I did a full body picture of him on another Oekaki site, 5 hours painting, painting. Then the program decided to shit on it and I lost it. *sigh*

I still think I did a great job on this too considering most things on this drawing, I picked up while I was working on it. I had no idea about hair. Clothing. and only a little bit of experience with digital art in whole, when I first started this. :"D I'm satisfied with the results none-the-less. Awesome skin tones and good overall contrast. To be honest, I had higher expectations for this piece's finish. I think if you concentrated on details and form more, it would take your work to the next level. You obviously have a good stroke and a great sense of color.

Love this! My fav is that fish in the birds mouth. I had to smile from the expression the fish is making. Poor thing, but it is nature taking place.
