Y'know, I never commented on this, but I keep going back to it and staring at it for a bit. So I thought it deserved a comment. I'm not a big commenter, but if something makes me say something out loud then I usually do comment. However, despite the fact that I had no vocal outbursts, I still really love this and I thought you should know that.

how did you scan that photo of me stalking those idiots riding through my yard again? LOL no this is so crazy! the details on the horseriders are .. how? inspiring. Its so hard to make things very small look so realistic. The wispy coulds are incredible too. all around greatness.

Knowing pics like that, i guess this one is supposed to be right after the six days war, right?anyways, that's what i got. and felt. i love this. and i dont see sadness. i see them looking up at the kotel. cause, you know, it's huge. and beautiful.

My grandma was an artist. She loved to paint. Mostly flowers and young girls sitting in gardens. She loved seeing me draw when I was little, and she was so proud of me as I got older. She wanted so badly for me to go into an art field. When she was in the hospital, I drew a cartoon of myself on the little marker board that she was facing. She told me repeatedly how beautiful it was and how much she loved it. She always told me that I was so gifted, that I was better than she was, even though it mostly wasn't true. She was so proud of her granddaughter 'the artist'. I only hope that I can continue making her proud as she watches down on me.edit: This is NOT a painting of her.

Something I thought I commented on. One of my favorites of yours, the texture adds so much to the piece, making it seem more like canvas. If someone were to see this they would think it was a Degas, that was my first thought as well. Just beautiful Miss Cindy.
