This looks a little like one of those pictures they make on a copper plate by pounding the copper over a form. It's simple but I like it. I think it was better before the white outlining was added.

my go! I really don't want to go for the realistic approach because it's just no fun for me. I'd rather look at the original pic rather than my crappy version of it. So I decided to stick with impressionism. It's fun and I get to add funky colors!!

ps. This is Hyde. DUR but I need to work on it a lot more so it can resemeble him a lil more.

Wow, almost an identical copy of the picture that Bory-Chan drew on Aku-Tenshi!
The only differences I see: colour is lighter in yours, more watercolour used, less piercings, and no jewlery.
The original is found on Aku-Tenshi, under Bory.

It's beautiful... I love the color you use for the water. There is a Turtle Bay down in southeast Texas where I grew up, but... It is brown and muddy and gross! lol

Inspired by other pet pic's...and by my brother's dog, Samie, who actually squints his eyes and smiles all over his face when you walk in the door. I tried to capture his expression in my picture. The grumpy one is taken from memories of our beagle Misty..who was ...grumpy!

They are cute but I think the eyes look to much like people eyes, maby if you make them round it look more like animals.

Yea...the eyes ,especially with eyebrows, do look too human. Its a nice picture but they don't look "doggy" enough.

Yes, your right... they do look too human...I thought that too...but couldn't get them right...I started out on this pic as a practice using the copy tool...but it turned out to be struggle trying to make them not look like 'copies'..while trying to show, by facial expression, the differences in their personalities...thanks guys for your input..it helps..I'll keep your tips in mind for my next animal drawing.:) :)
