need suggestions

I would leave it to get some more crit on its own, but I doubt that'll happen, being on p 7 of most recently added, and p 8 of mest recent comments... I just need to know: any suggestions for finishing this? and should I add a BG? if I should, what should it be, should I try my hand at a realistic BG, or just a color wash (like a portrait)? thank you ^_^!!

another trick is to reduct the opacity and then use the blur tool at about 95% so you don't completely smear out the line

Thanks everyone, this was my 2nd attempt at this. Since I have so much trouble submitting ,the ones I work really put some effort into always, dissapear when I submit. so I am just happy when one goes thru lol!

mostly just wanted to save how the tree is looking before I pass out asleep.. I think I like it.. (note: the green areas of "sky" will have tree.. or at least so I think at this point.. hehe) perhaps it will be done tomorrow/today? *crosses fingers* maybe I'll get to work on it.. ^^;;

Very nice, you have the water looking good, but take out the black thing that looks like a fish, it would look better (just my opinion:)

Thanks, yea I think it looks strange too, I burned his shadow too much and forgot to fix it, now I can't so there'll just be a strange fish following him.....we'll pretend its like jaws or something ;)

This picture deserves more space.. If you send a memo to one of the mods with a link to the picture, and ask for more, they will likely move it up to intermediate so you can work it more.. you should definately do that.. this is great
