It looks like a crowd of spotlights!

Interesting - I thought it looked like a field of diamonds. Glad you showed the animation - was neat to see this emerge like that!

Greek mythology. :) Can anyone tell who she is?

Nice! I thought Hera too - she is usually ticked off at Zeus about something ;)
Silvair (Mar 1, 2007)
Holy..! That is beautiful lineart, as it has this weighted effect, but still retains a sleek elegance. Great colour choices, and phenomenal clouds!
Sweetcell (Mar 1, 2007)
Funny, I was looking at Greek Mythology just the other day. It can be any of the ladies of Olympus, but I'd go with Hera too. If it was Athena she'd have her Owl sitting on her arm and Aphrodite is always blonde (well most images are) The lineart is amazing, the hair is wow, and the lighting is stunning. Her chin's a little big but you hardly notice. I almost see her with one of Zeus's lighting bolts in her hand threatnening him with it. :)
fleeting_memory (Mar 1, 2007)
ooo I'm liking the line art. I'm gunna go with Hera cause she looks like she could be a bitch. :)

Ooooooooooo - this is great!!!
Sweetcell (Feb 2, 2007)
Poppa loves sharpness, but he's right in this. Just to bring the bubbles forward and make the background recede. With the way you blurred the background sharpening the bubbles would make them pop. heh, I made a Popparism

Your doing amazing things Triple.
TripleE313 (Feb 2, 2007)
I was going to go back in and revise it, but I've reached my limit. Says I need to ask a mod, but I'm not quite sure how? Do I just ask here? Hehe sorry..I'm learning. =) Lol
Sweetcell (Feb 2, 2007)
Go to memo, click send memo and click in the box for the name, type in ther mods name. Click ok, then type in a title and ask for space. Copy and paste the url in the address bar so they know which picture to give space to. They're all willing, but always remember to thank them and offer them great se..... I mean thank them.

The mods are; Marcello, Maiko, Mazi, Method 3, Furyofroy, Hakkai, Concannon, Kloxboy, Quintessence, and Zack. Yes I have them written down. :)

I always enjoy your pieces. I'm waiting for you to do a bigger, more complex piece...or wishing rather...maybe? :D
Naima (Jan 31, 2007)
Thanks, Klox! And no worries, your waiting won't be in vain :-D. Just getting my feet wet again after lotsa days without drawing (been mega busy!). Was too impatient to be very ambitious with this one, but stay tuned... ;)
Sweetcell (Jan 31, 2007)
No worries, I prefer Lascaux myself and use it most of the time. The best thing about Shi are the tones, and watercolor if you can master it. I only suggested it in case you wanted to show the animation of how you do these things. The only thing I can suggest to show how you do these is if you sent every revision seperately and explained what you did. But since you use so many layers I can imagine that would be a bit of a nightmare. But now my eyes are buggin' out looking at this. Really makes your head swivel. X)
Naima (Feb 2, 2007)
Thumbs up, Sweetcell :-D. I'll probably play around with it in the studio area for a while, maybe one of these days I'll gin up something postable. It will be good to have different tools to play around with, if I can get over not having all the ones in Lasc at the same time ;). And yeah, with some of the more layered patterns it would be rough to get the full explanation in there - but no worries, I type fast :-D. I worry more about having billions of lines of text posted here, that might drive people crazy. I can always memo you the details if you're interested in something particular, though!

Glad you like this one :)

Downtown Calgary
I'm going to have to say it's finished because it's taking up way to much space.

The first time I went up the Calgary tower I was 6, and I looked out the window, freaked, and spent the next half and hour in the washroom throwing up.

Hi. Yes I do visit youdraw from time to time. I'm flattered that my work could be momentarily mistaken for Crimson Kings, though I'm quite sure I havent mastered these tools to the extent that he has. No A.N - I all but gave up my musical aspirations when you declined my offer to form a band. ;P
