oooh this is going to be pretty darn good! Hair: I think what you are doing is fine, but I usually try to do the hair in layers start with the darkest shade on the bottom and put lighter colors on top, but by using the smallest size pixel for one strand looks more realistic, but you dont want to go overboard...hair just takes time.

the moderator thing: just memo a moderator there is a list somewhere with all the moderators who can give you more space. GL

Open the picture and copy the url address. ..then send a memo to one of the mods Marcello Hakkai Sweetcell ( I think she can grant space) Maiko... and paste the url into the memo so they know where it's needed.. this here is the best hair tutorial I ever saw posted on here or anywhere http://cellosoft.com/2draw/view/32425/

Prismacolor Markers?

Has anyone here used Prismacolor Markers? Got any opinions on them? My sister wants to buy them for me for my birthday (which, incidentally, isn't until April), but I told her I wanted to get some opinions on them before she spent the money. So, have you purchased them? How much did you pay? (Comparison shopping, haha.) What do you like or dislike about them? How do they compare to other art markers like Copic? (- if you have used other markers.) Would you recommend a certain set? (If so,...

Like Rukia it has a feel of Lore's style, but different. Nice use of colors, like crayon's or markers.

People are supposed to give you stuff on your birthday anyway. Demand presents, lots of them. Happy Birthday, Mr. Bastea-Forte. (that's weird, I tried to do your name with the e from the char-map, and the preview gave me a weird black thing instead of the e... just so you know I made the effort to do it correctly)

edit: My first thought when I saw this was "confetti"!!!! I love confetti. It's a lovely, happy birthday card, Maiko. :)

Anyway, we're not trying to be mean, but if you take a look at the intermediate boards
we have people with crazy skill. Hell, even I'm scared of using the intermediate boards.

Also, please don't become extremely defense when recieving criticism :3 we're only trying to help you improve.

I'm enjoying doing these kinds of pictures also.

I think It'd be refreshing to paint in the nude once in a while :o
and I bet she could paint with her mutated arm! It'd just take practice to grip the brush...
or maybe she can put paint on it and rub the canvas or something. haha.
