yes, it does look really good even without a reference. I like the teeth too and the dark blueness of the eyes. Good job. This looks like those 'silent' monsters from Buffy this looks less scary.

The teeth are wonderful...haha I have an obsession with teeth in my sculptural work. Has a real atmosphere to it...with the breath coming out into the darkness.

Its interesting that you took on the traditonal fruit bowl still life, and added some more everyday pieces. The bright red phone mimicks the design on the fuit bowl, which I think works compositonally. The only thing that is probably making things look akward is the perspective...but overall I enjoy the manner in which this piece is done. (I don't know if I'd change it at all.)

I had alot of problems with it (pointing finger/hand especially), and I'm so very impressed by everyone's skill on here, because I sure suck at drawing on the computer. Anyway have a nice day!
