Contest Week 30: Tattoo the Figure Your goal this week is to draw a person with a tattoo. The tattoo you draw on the person must be original. The person you draw your tattoo on (your canvas as it were) can be made up or you can use a photo reference. Is this the right board? So, what made you start drawing, and what made you keep at it? (there's probably already been a thread on this...) Well, let's see...as for me, I originally started somewhere around first grade. What did I draw? Animals. Why? I got some book called "Draw Rainforest Animals" or something, and used that. Solve: A little bit of both. I have a basic idea in my head and in the process of drawing, the image mutates as I see fit.

I consider myself a loser as far as art goes. I don't draw or paint on paper or canvas anymore, just this. I blew a scholarship to D.U's art program when I was 18, so...loser. Is that what you were asking?
