just a few things needed fixing

Actually, I think I like this more than many of your other horse-related works. All in all, you definitely have a gallery I'm not perusing out of boredom.

Edit: So you convinced me to attempt a member of the equinus family. Danke? http://cellosoft.com/2draw/view/82905/

Why are you always fighting?
Why are you always running?
Why are you always hiding?
Why are you always mourning?

Apoptygma Berserk - Mourn

I'm no expert but I think it's pretty good. The lines could be smoother and you could put more contrast in the hair.
Hope4 (Jan 20, 2007)
im just waiting for that guy to say "i can't believe its not butter" hahahaha nah good work though
Klibese (Jan 20, 2007)
Thanks. I'm wondering about how to get those smoother lines besides just anti-alias. I suppose the circles with the blurry edge might do the trick, as well as being even more vigilant about line width/eraser-trimmage?
Coming back tot his after a day always helps to point out the problems witht he body, too. Hrmp.

No comments on this ? I think this is a good drawing.
Sweetcell (Jun 23, 2006)
Nice piece, for some reason I'm drawn to his lips.
Klibese (Jun 23, 2006)
Danke, danke, especially since it's a self-portrait. My lips were always my favorite, not to be vain or anything (Abyss, I'm normally self-depricating, for instance, "If only I could have amde it look like it does when I look at it from the side on this plasma screen!"... and stuff.)

Sweetcell (May 12, 2006)
Antonio was sooooooo sexy as Zoro. Watched the show too. Just wondering who Simon is.
SYTHE (May 12, 2006)
Is it Simon Cowell? "Did you really believe you could become the American Idol? Well, then, you're deaf."
Klibese (Jun 23, 2006)
Nah, it's a character I tend to enjoy drawing with the unfortunate last name of Puttyfoot, but somehow the thought of Cowell as Zorro is vastly amusing.

Take a look at this...it might help...http://cellosoft.com/2draw/wiki/index.php/Lascaux_Sketch
kristine (Mar 23, 2006)
I read that wiki over and over and over, and i still dont get lascaux.
Opium (Mar 23, 2006)
amen kristine, amen....too many bells and whistles. Maybe when I have time/patience to work with lascuax, I'll try it. But then again, I look at artists like Gigandas, and his pictures look more stunning then some in lascaux, so he gives me hope!
davincipoppalag (Mar 23, 2006)
Now , see..that's how I feel when I look at Shi... I can't figure out how to do diddly with that...
