Beautiful! gloworm043
Sweetcell (Mar 16, 2008)
Nice gown, the bg is a distraction, I think a softer bg of pale colors would look better to show off the gown.
I want her handbag. May I have it?
QTgillie (Mar 16, 2008)
this is nicely done. I like the bg as it emits a sense of the magic that is being transposed on Cinder. Bravo!
STARZSHINE (Mar 20, 2008)
this is adorable glo! she is so pretty, reminds me of cinderella a bit. I like the background, but if you don't mind a suggestion...what would really set it off would be to take the background colors in the lights and have them highlighting on the gown and the lady, just a hint here and there to equalize the foreground with the background. very well done!

Who would buy a white couch? That would never stay clean around here.

I knew someone who had white carpet..white chairs, white walls..white couch.. and you had to take your shoes off at the door.. .. It felt like a damned hospital..not a living room. Beautifully drawn!!
KathyH (Mar 15, 2008)
I know, white furniture is beautiful but not functional. This looks like something out of a magazine, it's so pretty! I love the gazebo in the background.

Just added a little highlights and a simple background. Thank you Dave for the concerned, sweet comment as well. I am feeling much better this evening.

Hey Kat! Nice to see you here. I did them last night when I got up out of bed, had a bad stomach ache and came back today and just added a couple of highlights and a background. I usually don't draw much here. I love it here, the artists are awesome but I find it harder for some reason to draw here than just about anywhere.
emmamommalag (Mar 15, 2008)
So pretty! I love red flowers and these are really special looking.
STARZSHINE (Mar 20, 2008)
AAAAhhh Miss Dymples, this is fantastic! wow I really like this one, love the bold crimson! My mom has a hibiscus tree in her yard that blooms that color, it is so dramatic in the summer, this is really nice work!~

A long haired dachshund I think....he is a winner. Very well behaved I see also. Is he yours? Oh, duh....read the comments first, dum me........I see it is and is not yours. Still adorable and well drawn. He seems pretty confidant!
lori (Mar 14, 2008)
this is a great drawing, well done
my son keeps asking for this kind of dog, they really are cuties
KuteDymples (Mar 15, 2008)
That's Georgie my sisters dog! OMG! I am going to have to show her this picture Kathy. Those dogs are very obiedient and loving and I would recommend to anyone wanting one to get one. Georgie is about 5-6 yrs old now and is an incredible dog. Kathy it looks like you was at my sisters house and took a picture of him. Oh I love this!
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)

Thanks, Kathy! =)
Sweetcell (Mar 8, 2008)
I love wolves, they're so beautiful and so is this. My fave of yours by far. Well done Elly.
STARZSHINE (Mar 9, 2008)
Elly I had a Malamute timber wolve mix. His name was Maxx, he had one brown eye and one blue eye, he was the nuttiest dog I ever owned, he thought he was a person. He would sit on our couch with his hiney on the seat and his front paws on the floor. He was that big. He wasn't as tall as a great dane, but he was really long in the torso/abdomen like timber wolves are. When he stood on his hind legs he could put his forepaws on my husband's shoulders and rest his head on my husband's. He is 5'9. When he got to be about 6 months old we were awakened at night with the most unearthly sound, it gave us the willies, and we went to see what it was. It was our Maxx learning to do his wolf howl, omg, it was so funny but really creepy at the same time, lol. He loved to howl for the ladies, for sure. We unfortunately had to give him away when we moved from out of the country because he was too big and too wild. He loved to run and he did hunt. He weighed about 150lbs. He was a big dog, but your pic reminds me so much of him, if your pic had a right blue eye. Thanks for the memories...I miss the crazy boy. He has probably passed on though. His sister was owned by my sister's inlaws they had her till she was 17. An incredible age for a dog.

I worked on her wrist and other things, hope she looks better now! :o)

I think maybe the wrist is a tad thick and , perhaps the pinky a bit large. If you put your finger over the lower part of the wrist and pinky you can see what I mean. It's a very pretty drawing Kath
davincipoppalag (Mar 5, 2008)
I think that's better don't you?
KathyH (edited Mar 5, 2008)
Yes, I think her arm looks normal now, thanks for the comments and suggestions! But it is a little blotchy now, I can fix that though.
QTgillie (Mar 5, 2008)
wow, the softness of this is wonderful.

I kept thinking"is this a varmint?is this a photo shop?"hamsters do this?yeah, this is so darn cute, you could put it on cards you send peiople, and you'd cute them to death;what a wonderful painting work!fuzzy with paint, yow, i want one!you have a genius for animals, i see you animating their lil furry carcasses in revivals of "toy story"films. this talent wit critters should not be wasted.colors and details of fur...wonderful.my oracle says, "you will do critters,in the future, and make millions of adult kids very happy."(but what is the hamster saying,up there?"My feet are in knots,I can't get them untied!HELP!!")FABULOUS. :)

This is my fifth face here at 2draw. I am pleased but it took way too long. At first her eyes were too far apart so I had to redo one. Hopefully I am getting better with the tools here. The reference I used was http://www.morphthing.com/showimage/2/0/0/2480/Morph-of-Marilyn-Monroe-and-Scarlett-Johansson.jpeg

Hmmmmmmmmmm, marfin...this might be why I was struggling so much with the left side and the right side of the pic. The site I was at actually had Marilyn on the top of it but it was blurrier than this one, so I chose this one to draw from which I did not realize it was morphing....duh. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions....it is a learning curve for me....it will be slow going.
gel_o (Mar 2, 2008)
Very nice work on this one. I think you should move on up to Intermediate. I am glad to see your work here on 2draw.
Meno (Mar 5, 2008)
Marilyn was such a vulnerable soul ... this pic really captures her sweetness.
Cordelia_Pink (Mar 18, 2008)
It kiiiiiiinda looks like her, the mole and the hair esp. You did a good job on this though.

Aw, thanks, DorsY69. I was very fond of the ref photo when I found it. It was fun to draw!
KathyH (Mar 1, 2008)
I'll have to show this to my husband, this is really cool!
QTgillie (Mar 1, 2008)
I love the stylized look of this draw. We had six of these run through our back yard the other day! Nicely done. Colors are wonderful as it the skill level.
