I think the overall composition is more important than resolution.You can easily spot the difference at a low resolution: comparison of both drawings Also a couple of extra pixels are in your case more by a factor of greater than two |

dude, how could this not make it to the Showcase?? haven't seen one of these styles in a very, very long time! you did an excellent job, I knew instantly that it was Van Gogh. I like your take on this too because you didn't try to make it look exactly like it, and there's a blur in parts of it that makes it look softer compared to the orig. that has all the intricate details, which seem quite intense and sharp. But you still did great.
