Yeah.
Glass.
XD

Gotta get ready for churchy stuff... ... I think I'll go and get my clothes out of the dryer. If the stupid thing has been so kind as to actually DRY them. Instead of the door popping open and the dryer doing it's darned hardest to spit them out.
Oh sure, the washer will take'em when they're DIRTY. But the dryer would have anything to do witht hem just because they're a bit SOGGY.

Aw. Shucks. Out of space. And I do hate asking for space on the beginners board --;;

But yeah, 'tis pretty plain in the background.

Thank you though, Knockoff :) Maybe I'll try it again, now that I know I can do it... well... moderately well XD :)
davincipoppalag (Aug 2, 2004)
I usually give my appliances a 'time-out" when they won't behave. Once in awhile I have to threaten the dryer that I won't clean out the lint trap. That usually works. This is very nice.
thesolarwinds (Aug 2, 2004)
this is beautiful, thanks for the comment. :), so amazing.
ironoxide_red (Aug 6, 2004)
Very nice reflections in the orb. If your clothes aren't dry when you need them you can (almost) always iron them!

13+ Is, I believe, suitable. There's nothing detailed. 'Really don't think it's worth an 18+.
Then again, I'm pretty much desensitized.

Piccy I've been wanting to do for awhile.
Also, I suppose, a practice in perspective. Although unintentionally so.

I love dolphins (especially of the bottle-nose variety), and yet I've never drawn one in any oekaki before.
I quite like this.

*pokes timer* Eh ^^;;
Heh... Forgive my impatience.

I'm not sure about the bubbles in the front but.. eh.

P.S.
Main incentive to draw this was a wonderfully done shark in the Showcase.
When I see a 'Shark', I usually think 'Dolphin!'
Weird association, I know....

Hah, n.n Seeing as how copy-paste isn't possible, I guess I must have.
Though it surprised me, to be sure....

Thanks :D

And thank you Grandma... although I doubt you'll be reading this... XD
thug (Aug 1, 2004)
Wow, I just saw this. Thanx for the credit. I love to draw underwater pictures. This one is beautiful. Dolphins rule!
laurael (Aug 1, 2004)
Wow, you did fantastic with this. The light on the dolphin is wonderfully done...great job!

Because it's a doll. No spriteness... No.

None.

And should be quite exceptional as dolls go, once I'm finished :D

As I stated, it is a doll, not a sprite... but since if this were to go to the sprite board, and the sprite board is intermediate to begin with, t'wouldn't be robbery to set it's place here.
---

Yay! Finished! Like I said, didn't take ANYWHERE near as long as the timer says. Kept wandering away from the screen. I don't have very good concentration sometimes ^^;

But I do love it so.
Finally something new for my pixel-work folder.

Right... practicing a male profile.
Referance piccy: Um... Well.. this, thing. I drew. It's just a bunch of lines and squiggles and... what looks like cole-slaw. And a couple measurements. And it doesn't make much sense after you stare at it for awhile, but I think it worked.

In other news.

Squeee! The nose!
XD
'Tis an adorable nose.

I know Cole! He's a nice fella.. I don't think much of the rest of the Slaw family though. Lol squeezes nose..(ewwwww he snotted me!)
Knockoff (Aug 1, 2004)
I think this is really nice.
1. I think the mouth is just a bit to small. Looks like hes pulling his cheecks back.
2. The jaw bone you drew goes all the back to the back of the head, and It should connect with the ear.
Other then that this looks pretty nice.

I ran out of pages in my rainbow scratchy book thingy. XD

Yes, this is the finished version. It's supposed to look rough and scratchy. Because that's how these things turn out ^^

oooohh, i love it ^_^, i remember doing those sort of pictures too in grade school
Ty854 (Jul 28, 2004)
Nice, it doesnt look too rough or sketchy.
Aubrey (Jul 28, 2004)
I like the scratchy look it has, very nice. In college we did these pictures where you get a black clay board and scratch off the black clay with a pen sort of like a caligraphy stick.. finished product was a white sketchy picture on black, but you could get different boards with color under em. That's what it reminds me of.
Knockoff (Aug 1, 2004)
Hey!!! This is wonderful. I love all the color in this piece. Nice to see you back! I missed your art!

oh please....ask for more space, the hand could use a tad more definition, and hasnt anyone ever wiped the condensation away from a frosted glass of koolaide? dont touch the koolaid, it's perfect...
davincipoppalag (Mar 14, 2004)
yeah listen to brushes..shes way better than me anyway...(thanks brush!)
Harmanye (Mar 14, 2004)
Nah, this is about par for the Beginner board, I suppose, and I really don't feel like wasting a moderators time ^^;

Just practicing slightly (~_^) more realistic female form.

Eheh. Yes, the timer is horribly wrong, I just didn't want to submit untiul I was finished, and then I got sidetracked 0_0

I hope it's alright for Intermediate, I wanted a larger canvas size, so I couldn't put it on the beginner board ^^;

It appears as though her master has told her to sweep the dirt off the ground...

That's odd, in my studio it says this picture was set unfinished twice, 2 and 5 minutes after I submitted the finished version... which means a 14 point reduction. Most strange, because it says finished on the image page...
And again... Most odd.
Would it say by moderator if a moderator were doing it?

I'm just submitting this unfinished to see if anyone has hair colour suggestion and/or constructive criticism about anything, and/or optionally background ideas.
All This Time is a song by Sting, the inspiration might be a little obscure ^^;

I -should- mention the timer is hideously wrong and I only spent maybe two hours on this. But I won't.
Dirty blonde? Okay, I imagined her a brunette, but I suppose dirty blonde is a happy medium between brown and blonde anyway ^_^

Em, well, you know those picture that always seem to look better in the Thumbnails? Yeah, this is one of them.
Instant fantastic shading! Step ten feet away from your moniter and squint, makes this shading seem almost decent!
cursive (Mar 2, 2004)
OoOo I like this, it looks really nice i love the way you colored her hair! <3
DragonClaw (Mar 2, 2004)

Harmanye (Mar 2, 2004)
