Him? No Davinci, you should not know who this is unless you live in New York but even then he's not there very often. I think Qwerty is the only one on here who knows this guy, I'm not sure if giganadas does or not

omg I am so late in finishing this-as long as you dont look at the reference it looks like him! lol-sorry Bird! I tried.
Gigandas (Mar 5, 2006)
I think it turned out pretty nice anyway :). I'm pretty sure I recognize him; I just don't remember his name...
And since I can tell that it is 'him,' you did well.
Oh, and don't feel bad about giving late presents....I happen to fall into the same category too often and I feel so bad ^^;....(if it makes you feel better, way later than you submitted this one)

I kinda agree with Satern here. Although the skin tones, face, shapes and form of her body seem nice, the hair looks a bit flat and unfinished in comparison. My advice would be to use darker darks for depth, and possibly some reflective lights if that doesn't work out well.
darkshadow (Mar 10, 2006)
The hair to awesome
And I really like the look she has in her eyes
DoOp (Mar 18, 2006)
too much effort kristine!!! XD hehe i reallyy liek this one :D waiii!!! the hair is fantastic it works with the mood :) hehe and the whole make up being runny works fantastically well ^_^ hehe i lvoe it! wonderful job! :)
Anna (Jun 10, 2006)
Was just browsin' through your stuff to see what I've missed.. I like her face a whole lot. Especially the eyes and makeup. That's great work there, Kristine. Like a couple people mentioned.. it's just the hair. Kinda 'scratchy'. If that makes any sense. Anyway, keep drawing stuff like this. You're on to something.

Very different from the usual stuff here. Awesome sci-fi landscape. The details are absolutely insane.

Who here is like me and hasn't picked up a tablet yet, because of lack of funds, laziness etc.? Anyone got an extra? :)

Draw a Husky Win $20...maybe
oz0005 (Mar 2, 2006)
Ok here's the deal, I need someone to draw a husky (the dog) with it's mouth wide open and growling. I am making a design for a pop machine and the husky's mouth is where the pop is going to come out. I am entering it in a contest and If I win I will give the designer $20 for their artwork. This must be done in photoshop due to the large scale that I am working with, the dimension of the pop machine opening is 7in by 14in. It's a rectangle and I want the husky to be a decent size. So if anyone c...

This looks so realistic and beautiful. I can't really say what I like most about it, since everything is equally wonderful; I love it. ^__^

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 26, 2006)
This is a strange but pleasing combination of things... It looks somewhat "animeish" but, then it has a very realistic, believable quality to it. I love the palette you used, and i really gotta have one of those peasant style/corset things she's wearing. sexy!
patienceisoverrated (Feb 27, 2006)
Thanks DBA... I admire your art a lot, so I like it that you like it.

I don't intentionally set out to draw anime, but there are a lot of things I like about it when it's done well, like long, curving lines and gravity-defying hair and clothing. But I can never bring myself to draw it because I can't get around the fact that if you're eyes were that big, your entire head would be taken up by eye socket and there'd be no place to put your brain.

Haha, kinda like how I think Ed, Edd, and Eddy will one day melt into slime due to their super wavy outlines.

Satern (Mar 7, 2006)
Lovely little kingfishers, nicely picking up the wing colour in the eyes :) and a nice looking tree, the fluggy green looks a bit strange though :D.

You always have nice texture work going on. If you combine smooooth and nice texture, you've got a Lauryn piece in front of you :).

This looks like the beginning of FF7, hehe......the mako reactor mission, was it? I can almost see Cloud running around in there.
Rogue (Feb 26, 2006)
Yeah, it does kinda look like a mako reactor from FF7....hee hee. Interesting...and....er...rusty with the pallette choices.
DoOp (Feb 26, 2006)
